This breaking news needed its own thread. Apparently, there are going to be some changes. It is rumored that Zach won't be returning as the director for any DC films, and the director of the standalone Batman movie wants a fresh face as Batman, so Ben won't be playing Batman in a solo film. Hmm... I wonder who is next on the chopping block. No one is safe, other than Gal and Jason M.

Yes, they have too many cooks in the kitchen, and that's because they are a big studio with a lot of things going on, TV, Film, and even live productions.
WB is so big that they branched off to form DC studios, which makes DC films.
Hamada is responsible for those DC films, but he has bosses. They are:
Emmerich -- the President and CCO -- of WB. He SHARES greenlight authority w/Kevin Tsujihara, to determine which projects are ULTIMATELY made by Warner Bros.

There are many producers in these major films and not all of them have active roles in the making of films. Sometimes, it's just a glamour role to feed ego.
Some producers pitch projects and allowed to be involved in the development of the project.
Some producers who pitch just get the title, maybe some cash, or just the vanity role of producer.
The executive producer brings in cash and is very influencial, or sometimes, that person trusts the director/production team and takes a back seat.
Other times, studios part ways with producers once the obligation is fulfiled.
Then, there are the unique situation like he Ratpac (the money man) who is probably lying low or being a silent partner.
Money and clout -- child!

Well, aside from the Rock, maybe HC should get friendly with Will Smith. It worked with Margot Robbie. Maybe he could get an appearance in Suicide Squad, but if that happens, will his contract for last one appearance be completed then?

Rumor is that Margot f*cked Will Smith. Now, I think HC can get down with that, but is Will willing?
Margot working it
I say he just branch off from all of this superhero stuff.
Re: contract
I think that a sequel/another appearance hinged on box office success.

Eek! Don’t say that! I like Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. I do like Margot Robbie too. If she wasn’t married, HC should’ve dated her, but I reckon Margot has more ambition, drive (and talent?) than him.

Too hot and bothered to get their photo booth pics

Well Margot is married and Will Smith is still with Jada (for now).
If HC (as Superman) won’t appear in Suicide Squad 2, maybe he could appear in Shazam, given the Rock is in that movie. Maybe the Rock could convince the producers for his pal to be given a cameo.

The cast is already doing the table read for Shazam. I guess they can bring him in as a late casting.

Where is Shazam filming? Any chance they’ll film some part of it in the UK? But then it doesn’t matter where they shoot it I guess. If they want Superman in the film, they’ll just fly HC over (and hopefully give him a decent shave).

Shave???
Who has time for a shave, when we got some great CGI for that?

Always assumed old fashioned shaving is a lot cheaper than CGI.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if even the next Mission Impossible with HC is also a dud. All that brouhaha to keep his moustache on, would have really no bearing on the box office of that film.

It's called Karma! Paramount aka TC knew that HC could have shaved and applied a fake on MI6.
That thing is ugly anyway and is only needed to downplay HC's looks. I mean, seriously, must a villain have the stereotypical mustache?

Monsieur Cruise wields great power still. I’ve been told about the demands he makes for the movies he stars in and how he calls a lot of shots. Perhaps, in this case, he insisted that no way he would let HC’s good looks outshine his own, so the moustache had to stay. (Don’t think he would have accepted HC looking as suave and cleanshaven as his role in Man From Uncle.)

Apparently, there was a shakeup that was bigger than expected. It seems Zach was fired from JL, and it had nothing to do with his daughter's death.
This is according to Josh Dickey
