JG and his minions are trying hard to make it clear that DC Studios is different than DC Films and that Joker2 doesn't have the DC logo. lol
But none of that matters when you said that you gave notes (e.g., Joker2), made changes (e.g., Flash's cameos) and promoted DCEU and elsweworld content (e.g., Flash, BlueB, Penguin). JG even said that BlueB isn't the first DCU film, but he's the first DCU character. He bought the CR docu and he probably had to kiss Matt Reeves' arse for Penguin. lol
All those characters are DC characters. As the co-CEO, you can't do all that stuff and then cherry pick a bought docu and an elseworld show you didn't make and say DC is off to a good start just because they have good RT scores. JG's DC started when he decided to change things in films he didn’t really make. All those films flop. So bad start.
But pretending and lying are really JG’s thing. Now he's pretending he did a lot in the two years that he's co-CEO of DCS. lol He forgot that while GOTG3 was in post (starting May 2022), he was working on the script for PeaceM2 (S02 greenlit Feb. 2022) and SM25 (hired to write it Aug. 2022, some say Apr. 2022). He became co-CEO Nov. 1, 2022.
JG: Don’t leave out picking up the incredible Super/Man: TheChristopherReeveStory which is releasing into theaters tomorrow! Get your tickets here: fandango.com/super…
He forgot to mention canceling CW's SM show, providing unsolicited notes to Todd Philip, making changes to the last DCEU films, go out of his way to promote DCEU films, especially The Flash by saying it’s one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen.
WB(D) never learn. lol Twice they decided to change plan and it didn't work. Now they want Battison to be part of this (so far) ridiculous-looking film.
They saw the MCU's success and decided to fast-track a film with DC's Trinity. CapA3 made a billion while BMvSM didn't.
They saw the success of DeadP1 and decided to change SS and JL into a comedy.
Battison won't fit in SM25. Everything in TBM looks dark/serious and is as realistic as possible. There is no comedy and it looks like a film for theater. SM25 is colorful and fantastical. It's supposedly fun and so far it looks like a film for streaming. lol
This reminds me of what Ben Affleck said about JG.
Geeks are trying to figure out the character HC will play ever since.

Christopher Nolan made his first studio effort, "Insomnia," at Warner Bros., and called the big house in Burbank his home for close to a decade. What changed? The Covid pandemic and then WB production chief Jason Kilar's decision in 2020, via his Project Popcorn initiative, to release the company's entire slate for the year day-and-date in theaters and on its HBO Max streaming service.
Nolan scorched Kilar and WB at the time, saying, "Some of our industry's biggest filmmakers and most important movie stars went to bed the night before thinking they were working for the greatest movie studio and woke up to find out they were working for the worst streaming service." Nolan's 2020 film, "Tenet," got a full theatrical release after multiple delays on August 26 of that year, but the public's reticence to sit in theaters as millions continued to die from Covid crippled its box office.
Regardless of Kilar's rationale, Nolan was furious and took his next project, "Oppenheimer," to Universal. Upon Kilar's dismissal, Warner Bros. Discovery honcho David Zaslav and the studio's new production heads, Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, mounted a charm offensive to bring Nolan back into the fold. Alas, last week Nolan announced that he would make his next feature at Universal.
Nolan swears this isn't the case. In a November 2023 interview with Variety, the filmmaker said his animus with his former home studio was "water under the bridge," and that he was "absolutely" open to returning to WB under the new management. But he's sticking with Universal for now (with a project that is believed to be an adaptation of Patrick McGoohan's classic sci-fi TV series "The Prisoner," which he's had in development for years), and if a recent report is true, it's not hard to see why.
According to industry insider outlet Puck, De Luca persuaded Zaslav to cut Nolan a seven-figure check as a sign of good faith. Really? This doesn't sound like De Luca, who's long been known for being one of the most talent-friendly execs in the business (dating back to his protective shepherding of PT Anderson's career at New Line in the late 1990s); if he wanted to send a message of goodwill to Nolan, a seven-figure donation to Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project would've made more sense. Or maybe he could've convinced Zaslav to release finished, yet shelved-for-tax-write-down movies like "Batgirl" and "Coyote vs. Acme." Puck also added that neither De Luca nor Abdy were granted access to the script for Nolan's movie before Universal grabbed it.
Screenrant: Warner Bros. Spite: The Real Reason Behind The Barbie vs. Oppenheimer's Box Office Battle Reportedly Revealed
Oppenheimer and Barbie are set to battle it out at the box office this July, and a new report suggests Warner Bros. Discovery may have scheduled the latter film out of spite.
Puck reports that Warner Bros. Discovery apparently scheduled the Gerwig movie on the same day as Nolan's as a "middle finger" to Universal. Nolan broke ties with Warner Bros. in 2021 after publicly criticizing the company's move to a day-and-date release strategy for much of its 2021 slate, and the company is reportedly not too pleased with Universal's new collaboration with the filmmaker.
THR: Why No One Will Get Fired Over ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’
According to one source, the ending of the first movie’s original script featured Phoenix’s Joker carving his face in front of a crowd of his supporters. But The Dark Knight filmmaker Christopher Nolan killed that idea, believing that only his Joker (Heath Ledger) should carve his face. But Nolan is no longer at the studio, and thus there was no resistance to the idea this time around.
De Luca and Abdy have been able to strike deals with auteurs like Anderson and M. Night Shyamalan, but Zaslav's presence at the top is still a cause for concern from many A-list directors. Some directors feel he can't be trusted, so they're waiting to see how he handles Anderson's latest movie, especially after the historic flopping of his personally approved "Joker: Folie à Deux." Zaslav has a reputation for pettiness and pridefulness. Factor in Nolan's reportedly warm relationship with Universal chief Donna Langley, and the time just didn't seem right for a WB homecoming.

Joker2 is breaking records. A 81.3% second weekend drop, the biggest for a CBM in history. It's #4 in the top 10 in its second weekend.

As always, JG's minions posted something so JG can reply that Krypto won't talk. lol He really can't let peeps find out they were wrong when they watch the film.
BTW, according to a JG minion, the account @jamesgunn.bsky.social is a JG account on a platform called BlueSky.
WBD*cks should really leave CN alone. lol Maybe what happened to Joker2 isn't entirely caused by the curse. Maybe CN has a vengeful guardian angel. lol
Joker1 was a huge success, because WB respected CN's wish about the carve.
Releasing Barbie the same day as Oppenheimer out of spite, created BarbenHeimer, which made R-rated Oppenheimer a huge success. So WBD*cks plan backfired big time. lol
Joker2 is a gigantic flop, because WBD*ck let Todd let Joker carve his face out of spite. lol
Now you can't separate the citizens from the government without being harassed by Israelis, Palestinians, Ukrainians or Russians either. These people think that everybody should hate whoever they hate or are at war with.
Well, news flash! That's not going to happen. They better imprint that very hard in the part of their brain that store long- and short-term memories.
Recently, some Ukrainians feel they can harass everybody who refuse to consider all Russians horrible people. Putin and his followers should be thrown into prison for life, not all Russians.
One of the main reasons why Ukraine couldn't join the EU is because its governments were considered corrupt. Some politicians are pro Russia and some are not. Should the world consider all Ukrainians corrupt people or Russian arse worms? Of course not. Should the world expect Ukrainians to go to war with the corrupt government. I hope not. A lot of people will die in a civil war. The corruption should be dealt with in a different way.
So Ukrainians should remember all that whenever they feel an itch to start harassing people who's sensible enough to separate the citizens from their f*cked up government.
And yes, lots of "problems" have to be solved to stop the war and to prevent future wars. Unsolved problems led to war. The war is the escalation and the horrific part of all the unsolved problems like corrupt politicians, some pro/some against NATO/EU membership, some pro/against Russia, controversial agreements with Russia, aggressive Russian separatists and so on.
Ukraine could have been part of NATO, but some Ukrainian politicians claimed in 2007(?) that Ukraine would not join as long as the public continued opposing the move. So we're talking referendum and the people's choice. Now Ukraine is desperate to join. Russia already said that will lead to nuclear war. So a problem that will pull all the citizens of NATO/EU into the war. Should everybody start hating Ukrainians because the majority kept voting against NATO membership before the war?

Another 69% drop. China didn't help the numbers.
Funny-looking SM with a goofy-looking super dog.
So far, DC has the SM curse and the Nolan curse. Perhaps there's also a JG curse and a DCEU curse.
Every single project that JG promoted flopped. He posted this about Penguin:
The Wrap: ‘The Penguin’ Premiere Rules the Streaming Roost With More Viewers Than ‘House of the Dragon’ | Chart
That's very odd, though. The first ep of HOTD (released on Sunday) appeared on Nielsen's Overall Chart while Penguin's first ep (released on Thursday) did not. It didn't appear on the Acquired Chart either.
After BlackA (2022; $390,455,088; no China), every film about a DC character flopped. The DCEU curse affected Joker too.
$433,845,564 Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)
$266,550,332 The Flash (2023)
$192,109,748 Joker: Folie à Deux (2024)
$132,276,175 Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)
$128,777,017 Blue Beetle (2023; no China)
You could say that nothing surpasses BlackA ($406,527,980 with inflation 2023). AquaM – China = $369.249.573
The Maidan Uprising in 2013 was bloody, but it wasn't a civil war. The police shot many protesters?
The protests were sparked by President Yanukovych's sudden decision not to sign the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement, instead choosing closer ties to Russia.
I don't think they meant a referendum. I don't think there was a referendum. They were planning one to decide whether or not to Join NATO, but it fell through. There was something wrong with the amount of signatures. Also, many appeals were made.
So I think they were referring to polls. According to many polls, before 2014, a majority of Ukrainians were against joining NATO. Example
A November 2009 poll by Ukrainian Project System relieved 40.1% of Ukrainians polled said the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was the best global security group for Ukraine to be a part of and 33.9% of the respondents supported Ukraine's full membership in CSTO; more than 36% of the respondents of the poll said that Ukraine should remain neutral and only 12.5% supported Ukraine's accession to NATO.
The CSTO consists of six post-Soviet states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
President Yanukovych fled Ukraine in 2014. He was against joining NATO. He wanted Ukraine to stay "neutral". He was found guilty of treason(?). He was also charged with asking Putin to send Russian troops to invade Ukraine after he had fled the country.
The interim Yatsenyuk Government also didn't want Ukraine to join NATO. The 2014 war with Russia made Ukrainians change their minds about NATO.
Yes, the internet never forgets and Google loves to dig up info. How neat is that?
So why doesn't Ukraine ask CSTO for help? Why should NATO citizens be part of Ukraine's never-ending PROBLEMS with Russia?

It is very difficult to make a decent CBM with a lead heroine or a lead black hero. Disney and Marvel like to fake being pro DEI.
In what comes as no surprise, Marvel Studios’ Blade won’t be coming out on Nov. 7, 2025, rather Disney is opening 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands.
The reboot of the famed Wesley Snipes Marvel movie was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019 with 2x Oscar winner Mahershala Ali starring. Production and development on Blade hit unavoidable delays with a global pandemic and dual industry strikes.
The project saw two directors exit, first Bassam Tariq, who was eyeing a fall 2022 start, then Yann Demange. Mia Goth is set to play supervillian Lilith in the vampire slayer movie. She told Deadline’s Natalie Sitek at the world premiere of her A24 movie MaXXXine, that in regards to the Blade delays, Marvel “really care, they do. They want to make a great movie. That’s the sense that I get from them and that feels good.”
For Marvel Boss Kevin Feige, it’s important to make the best Blade movie ever. The studio won’t make the movie until they’ve cracked a great script.
In addition, three untitled Marvel movies are dated for Feb. 18, 2028, May 5, 2028 and Nov. 10, 2028.
Dan Tratechenberg, who directed the previous Predator movie, Prey, which went to Hulu, is back for Predator: Badlands, the latest installment starring Elle Fanning. There was debate that Disney left money on the table by taking Prey straight to homes, and indeed, the reversal here indicates their continuing commitment to theatrical in the post Bob Chapek era of the studio.

Ukrainian peeps and government are the ones who wanted to stay close to Russia. Now they want everybody to hate every Russian.
I doubt Penguin would get more views than HOTD, but Nielsen counts old eps too. A better comparison could be Agatha. It made the Acquired Chart. Although, Nielsen only counts MAX, not HBO.
Yanukovych fled with his side piece and left his wife behind.
They had a love-hate relationship with Russia. Well, until Russia bit their heads off in 2014. Seriously, who the heck trust Putin?

I'll have lots of fun making fun of the grown men who love seeing another grown man with his red undies on the outside.
That's a lot of curses. lol SM25 must make around $800M to cover its $300M PB + at least $100M promo. We should make bets.
I don't watch anything from DC/WBD*ck, but I was happy for CF.
In 1991, Ukraine held a referendum to separate from the USSR, right? Amazing how much they missed Russia. Amazing how much they still wanted to be in things with Russia.
Yanukovych stole millions. So thief! He ordered his police to fire on protesters. A 103 unarmed protesters died. So murderer!
Imagine being a Ukrainian and people think you're the same kind of scumbag as the Yanukovych government. Adulterer, thief, murderer, traitor.
The mentality that "the West" (and NATO) isn't good for Ukraine should have been dealt with in peaceful times.
The audacity of some online fools. All these PROBLEMS shouldn't exist. Putin is nuts, but not that nuts to attack a NATO country.
So foolish ignorant Ukrainians are now angry at their Russian friend and want everybody to be angry with all Russians. Actually, many are angry with Ukraine. Their stubbornness, their refusal to join NATO in peaceful times has caused a gigantic PROBLEM for many people on the Continent.
So shut the f-ck up about your Russian friend and everything and hope nobody remembers all this sh*t.
Rumor has it that the test screenings for CapA4 are still bad.
It's not funny, but I did laugh. lol
Who the hell trust any Russian government? Ukrainians forgot how they became part of the USSR. Russia never respected Ukraine sovereignty and borders. But let's trust them and sign the controversial Budapest Memorandum(?) that supposedly had to guarantee the borders and sovereignty of Ukraine. In return, Ukraine gave up its nukes. Seriously, are they kidding me? That's how much they trusted Russian government. This sh*t is infuriating! ! !

Well, JG is also very busy throwing shade at his so-called MCU friends. It started with he doesn't do cameo porn. He doesn't do reshoots either. He even listed everything he does to show how well prepared he is. He also would never put a half-arsed script in production just because it was announced.
That last one is his reaction to what was said on the internet. He probably heard the rumor that DZ lost faith in the DCU plans after Joker2 flopped. So DZ wants to see SM25's BO numbers first. Of course JG had to come up with something he can hide behind. Well, now he can keep saying "we don't have a good script".
That's funny. JG claims he gave notes about Penguin too.
Minion asks exactly what JG wants to answer: Is "The Penguin" at all your baby? Or are you more of a hands off approach on this one?
JG: I gave noteson on the first few episodes but they weren't many as the show were great and Lauren and company were creating something incredible.
DC Film News : Dylan Clark says James Gunn is all-in for Matt Reeves’ BATMAN EPIC CRIME SAGA.
“The only conversation Matt & I had with James & Peter were that they loved [THE BATMAN], they loved that we’d already been in production with THE PENGUIN, and they were all-in on what we were doing” (Via Total Film)
So who did JG give the notes to?
JG pretending and lying. Shocking!
In a Feb. 19, 2023 tweet, JG wrote that he was hired to write Superman Legacy over six months ago. So some thought that he started writing it early Aug 2022.
But in JG's sob story about why Krypto looks like his dog, he wrote that he adopted [Ozu] shortly after I started writing Superman.
On May 31, 2022, JG wrote on IG: Meet Ozu, the newest member of our family. [...]. JG also claims Ozu wouldn't let them touch him and would jump away when they approach him. But in the May 31 pics, JG's wife is hugging the dog and the dog is lying next to JG.
On June 27, JG wrote: We got this guy exactly one month ago. He hid from us, jumped away when we approached him, and wouldn’t eat or drink while we were in the room. Now look at #OzutheDog. Several pics of JG and his wife with the dog.
From May 27 to May 31. So it took Ozu like four days to stop jumping away and let them touch him? Isn't that normal? The dog didn't know you. He just needed to get used to you. On May 31, he was happily posing for pics with his new parents.
IMO, JG seems to overdramatize. After all, he's THE online drama queen. Always looking for attention. It looks like he cooked up a sob story to tell for more attention and the usual empathy/sympathy. It looks like he wants people to feel sorry for him and maybe like him or crap like that.
Anyhow, some assumed JG started writing SML in April 2022, because he said he adopted Ozu shortly after he started writing Superman.
First, JG pretended like he did everything for SM25 and CC after he got the job Nov. 1, 2022. He probably saw geeks calling him out. So he and his minions created a convo to address that. So JG admitted that the SM25 script was ready before he announced his crappy 10-year plan on Jan. 31, 2023.
Minion asks exactly what JG wants to answer: Wouldn't it be easier to have a script before you guys announce things?
JG: I wish we lived in a world where I could wait to have a script before the development of a project got out.
Minion asks exactly what JG wants to answer: At least you were able to have that with Dynamic Duo :)
JG: I know. I can't believe it. And Superman, honestly!
JG forgot to mention that he started writing CC like more than five months before he became the co-CEO. He alluded to that in a June 14, 2022 post about Frankenstein. During the NYCC 2024 panel, he said he wrote the scripts without a deal. He had talked to MAX about creating [...] an animated series. Rumor has it that MAX rejected the idea. But during the panel, JG said that he became the co-CEO and greenlit it himself.
So like SM25's script, CC's script was also ready before the announcement and development.
That's what should happen to everybody who treats their talent like crap.
You must be happy Sweden is now a member of NATO. I doubt Sweden is on Putin's mind, but you never know.
WBDck can't make good DC decisions. Why would a film without CGI and action sequences cost $200M? That's beyond ridiculous. It shouldn't matter that you made successful films in the past. You should do everything in your power to keep the PB as low as possible. Now WBD*ck will lose more than $200M, because they didn't have the balls, spine or tits to tell Todd he should make the film with $100M or $125M.
OMG, JG can't even choose a dog without telling some sob story? Always looking for empathy/sympathy or a way to justify the nepotism. According to some geeks, the origin story of the dog seems to change.

Well, there's a baby kaiju and a kaiju in SM25. The promo toys spoils that too.
BTW, a few months ago, a geek posted a YT vid about that. I think the name of the YT'er was Mr Reel or Mr Review. He said one of his sources saw a rough cut of SM25. Of course it had no CGI.
The YT'er explained everything his source saw and he mentioned the kaiju. Although, the source said it wasn't visible, because it will be CGI.
The geek who posted the YT vid deleted his account. When you delete your account, all threads you started will get deleted too. I hope someone has the link.

Films and new shows do get on on the Overall Chart. Last week, Inside Out 2 and The Garfield Movie were #2 and #9, respectively.
Second week and Agatha slipped from #8 to #10.
SMH
I don't think SM25 will make more money than TBM ($765,950,479 – +$825,220,659). I think it'll make between $500M and $600M worldwide.
You forgot that he has always given his VFX artist-collaborators time to do their jobs properly, and the respect they deserve.
JG said he doesn't do cameo porn a long time ago. Recently, he mentioned:
DeadP3 (MCU's new GOTG) made more money than the GOTG films and the MCU is known for constantly doing those things. Very sus.
No, they got that from somewhere else. Oct. 11, Ann mentioned April 2022. JG's sob story was posted Oct. 15.
There seems to be some confusion. Too many rumors and sources.
10/11 – A site listed the things that JG accomplished since he has become the co-CEO. JG added something, but he didn't clarify that the scripts were ready before he became the co-CEO.
Geeks called JG out. According to them, JG was done writing SM, CC and PM2 before Nov.1, 2022.
10/11 – Ann wrote: He forgot that while GOTG3 was in post (starting May 2022), he was working on the script for PeaceM2 (S02 greenlit Feb. 2022) and SM25 (hired to write it Aug. 2022, some say Apr. 2022).
10/15 – JG posted the pic of SM and Krypto and wrote: Krypto was inspired by our dog Ozu, who we adopted shortly after I started writing Superman.
10/15 – In a convo on Threads, JG kind of confirmed that the SM script was ready before the slate announcement Jan. 31, 2023. The script was likely ready before Nov. 1, 2022, because he started writing it May 2022.
10/19 – Durring the NYCC's panel, JG said that the CC script was finished when he started as co-CEO. I wonder if he said that because geeks mentioned his Frankenstein post from June 14, 2022.
THR: Gunn addressed the early process for the series, which was already in the works before he stepped on to helm DC Studios. “It was written when I started as the CEO of DC Studios. I had talked to Max about creating something after Peacemaker did so well. I talked to Peter Girardi about creating an animated series. I like the Creature Commandos. I love monsters. I love Frankenstein, the story of Bride of Frankenstein. It seemed like the perfect thing to do,” he said. “I wrote the scripts without a deal. then I happened to get hired instead of DC studios, and I very graciously. Thank you, self.”
JG knew he was going to talk a lot about CC at NYCC. So there was no need to stage a convo on Threads to tell the internet when the script was ready.
The part about being rescued from the kill-shelter and living outside without human contact is a little confusing to some, but it didn't really change.
The story about Ozu's behavior, however, did change. It went from Ozu being skittish, chewing on shoes and not knowing the difference between a chair and table to jumping away, hiding, refuse being touched and avoid eating, drinking and peeing in front of JG and his wife.
In the first post about Ozu (May 31, 2022), JG wrote that Ozu was skittish and it took him five days to get comfortable. Like you said, the dog didn't know them. He had to get used to them. Four/five days sounds normal. And many dogs chew on little things like shoes. You should buy them chewing toys to play with. And many dogs must be taught whether or not they're allowed on the chairs, bed, table(?) etc.
I don't see what's the big deal about Ozu's behavior.
The geek deleted his account, because the other geeks didn't believe the vid he posted. The spoiler was the reason they didn't believe it. Now the spoiler is the thing being confirmed by the toys.

Well, they weren't a member, but they had good relations with NATO. But yeah, I'm very, very glad they're a member now. Because you're peaceful peeps that doesn't mean everybody else is. Who knows if Russia is only interested in countries that shares it's boarders. Sweden isn't the neutral Switzerland of the North.
Switzerland is surrounded by NATO countries. Sweden is not. When you look on the map, you can kind of draw a straight line from St. Petersburg to Stockholm. By plane or boat, it's a trip over the Finnish Gulf and the Baltic Sea. So Putin's crazy arse isn't that far away. I honestly don't understand WTH they were thinking over there. But they came to their senses.
Father, brother, wife, pets all have a sad story that JG must share on socials.
I think the spoiler is the one shooting the pink beam behind SM. If that's true, then it explains why SM was calmly putting on his boots. That SM isn't the real SM. He and the spoiler are both Lex's creation.
I still think everything looks like made for streaming. lol Geeks don't talk much about SM25. And when they talk, it's not positive talk. JG minions keep saying they heard the film is good. lol
So I'll say between $400M and $500M. I may change it if the trailer looks decent. Apparently, they will show something at the upcoming Brazilian Con (CCXP).
Exactly. He keeps praising himself lately. His way of coping.
With or without +inflation, the DeadP trilogy made more money worldwide than the GOTG trilogy. The firs two films made lots of money without relying on the MCU.
$0,781,947,691 - $058,000,000 - Deadpool 2016 - +$1,027,257,075
$0,786,362,370 - $110,000,000 - Deadpool 2018 - +$0,987,391,198
$1,336,266,585 - $200,000,000 - Deadpool 2024
$770,882,395 - $170,000,000 - GOTG 2014 - +$1,026,713,258
$869,087,963 - $200,000,000 - GOTG 2017 - +$1,117,918,994
$845,468,744 - $250,000,000 - GOTG 2023 - +$0,874,878,210
Was Ozu living outside before going to the kill-shelter? Was he living outside at the kill-shelter? Was he living outside after he was rescued from the kill-shelter?
JG loves to be the center of attention. lol The original story about Ozu's behavior was too normal. It needed to be abnormal for more attention.

I’m not sure if I should say Yay. I’m not really interested in a sequel to Prometheus or Covenant. Or do a sequel to them and a sequel to Romulus.
Legendary director and producer Ridley Scott is reportedly developing a new Alien movie. After the success of this year’s Alien: Romulus, the Hollywood Reporter revealed that Scott and his Scott Free Productions company are developing a new movie in the franchise for 20th Century Studios.
In a recent interview, Álvarez said Scott’s suggestions on the film made him “kick the wall” but then realized that his ideas made sense, so he followed his advice.
“I can sniff out something that’s maybe too intellectual, or not intellectual enough,” Scott said. “Knowing the extremes is partly my job. Also, knowing when something is too long or too complex. That’s where I come in as a producer - really, as an editor. In that respect, I’m always respectful of the director, and if you’re respectful, they’ll listen to you,” he added.
Aside from the possibility that Scott would develop a sequel to Romulus, Comic Book reports that another idea could be a sequel to Prometheus (2012) and Alien: Covenant (2017). The idea of a sequel to those films has been sidelined or delayed several times.
It’s also the case that Scott may be developing something new for his dystopian sci-fi setting, as the Alien franchise gives the director/producer a multitude of possibilities.
Scott’s original Alien, starring Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley was groundbreaking at the time for its blending of sci-fi and horror, which had not really been done before.

Of course.
The suit is darker. Maybe it wasn’t the dark room. It also has a different collar.
Todd was very demanding. After this flop, he won't be able to demand anything.
They're throwing everything but the kitchen sink into SM25.

Venom: The Last Dance was just awful. The character is cool, but they keep putting him in awful films. That dance sequence was so annoying and made absolutely no sense.

No, we can't celebrate. Ridley Scott wants to steal the Alien sequel from Fede Alvarez. I hear that Ridley is going to make an Alien film.
That old fool hasn't made a good or successful film in a long while. His last success was 2015's The Martian. He ruined the Alien vibe with Prometheus and Covenant. Fede brought that vibe back. Romulus feels like an Alien film. So he should make the sequel. We shouldn't support an Alien film if it's made by Ridley.

Heading into the holiday, Walt Disney Animation’s sequel was tracking to open to an already huge $125 million to $135 million for the long five-day weekend (Wednesday-Sunday). However, the music-infused family film served up a magical $225 million for the five days, including $139.7 for the three-day weekend, thanks to the pent-up demand to witness the continued adventures of the fearless Moana, voiced once again by Auli’i Cravalho, and the demigod Maui, likewise voiced again by Dwayne Johnson. Final numbers are up from Sunday’s five-day estimate of $221 million and three-day estimate of $135.5 million.
The Thanksgiving menu also included Universal’s record-smashing Wicked and Paramount’s Gladiator II. The trio of films resulted in the biggest Thanksgiving of all time in terms of domestic holiday revenue, which reached $420 million — more than $100 million ahead of the previous record set in 2018 with $316 million, according to Comscore.
Overseas, Moana 2 started off with $165.8 million for a record global bow of $389 million, according to final numbers (Sunday’s estimate was $386.3 million). The pic opened No. 1 everywhere save for China.
Moana‘s journey to becoming a franchise was unusual, to say the least. The original 2016 movie was a solid but not spectacular performer, and the sequel was originally developed as a Disney+ series. That is, until the 2016 pic transformed into an enduring cultural phenomenon among kids and became the most streamed movie across all platforms in 2023, according to Nielsen.

See? Audiences aren't racist. They just don't like race swapped characters. Moana is a non-white Disney heroine.
$247,996,613 – $205,300,000 – $453,296,613 Moana 2 (PB $150M)
$248,757,044 – $437,370,568 – $686,127,612 Moana 1
So stop being lazy and come up with stories about non-white characters or use existing non-white characters.
Sony should be proud. They have ruined a very cool character. They can't blame a pandemic this time
$110M – $213,511,408 – $642,569,645 – $856,081,053 Venom 1
$110M – $213,550,366 – $287,996,556 – $501,546,922 Venom 2
$110M – $138,437,629 – $330,052,337 – $468,489,966 Venom 3
The person who came up with that ridiculous scene should never work in the film industry again.
Gladiator 2 isn't going to break even. Many say they don't know on what Ridley spent $310M.
$118,505,969 + $208,630,173 = $327,136,142
Fede knows how to make something good with a small PB. Ridley is just a cocky filmmaker who thinks he can make BS and spend whatever he wants on it too.

JG posted SM25 promo stuff.

One post has too much color and the other one barely has any.
When I saw the colorful one, I thought it was a poster to promote Pride Month.
Perhaps they made SM gay to be "woke"?
The colorful one also reminds me of an invitation card for a little boy's birthday party, with SM as the theme.
I think they blurred the red adult diaper on purpose.
So far, I'm not impressed. The trailer better be good.
