This breaking news needed its own thread. Apparently, there are going to be some changes. It is rumored that Zach won't be returning as the director for any DC films, and the director of the standalone Batman movie wants a fresh face as Batman, so Ben won't be playing Batman in a solo film. Hmm... I wonder who is next on the chopping block. No one is safe, other than Gal and Jason M.

Not in theory -- the truth.
The same is said for other races of people.
It is interesting.
This week, it was announced that it is pretty much a done deal as opponents of the merge lost another battle.

AT&T acquire WB!

The AT&T head said he won’t interfere with the ‘creative people’ over at Time Warner/WB. I hope that’s true. I like my HBO shows... But he could interefere with DC if they continue on making disappointing duds.

But he could mess with the executives at WB who messes with the creative people, just saying. . .

Very interesting... Honestly don’t know why Jim Lee went up and became an exec. I always thought of him more as an artist.
I do wonder how long this ‘Trinity’ would last now that AT&T has bought Time Warner?

So, he can be more of an artist. Otherwise, he is a cook for hire and not the creator of the recipes.
Time will tell. The new owners might want to trim the fat.

If you are chef, some fat in the meat is actually good to give better flavour and moisture to the meat. NOt a good idea to trim all the fat and they add to the overall flavour...

So far, the only flavor in DC is turkey.

If Ben is out due to the lacklustre performance of BvS and J.L... Geoff Johns been replaced... The Snyders are out...
What are the chances that HC will remain as Superman? I recall MOS didn’t so well either...The chances of him being Brandon Routh v2.0 seems to be getting higher...

They are going younger, and if so, they would want a young Superman with some personality. By the time they get to filming a MOS sequel, HC will be in his 40s. He's already 35 with no sequel in the works. If a sequel was in motion, it would take 2 years to get going if it were greenlit. Since, it isn't, HC's only bet is to play Supes in another movie.

I honestly would prefer a mature Superman and Batman. Younger Superman = Superboy which in past reincarnations were too campy or angsty (Smallville). Batman had always been an ‘old soul’ even when young.
Too bad they won’t go for the Flashpoint storyline anymore.

That would be nice or bad if it fell into the wrong hands. I still couldn't see HC playing the older Supes, because I would expect to see some range, in which he has not shown.

Well if he still has one more Supe movie in his belt or tights, I hope it would have a better storyline
