Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 Things That Annoyed Even Dedicated Fans

BM and Joker don’t have superpowers. Deathstroke has some powers. But according to the geeks, he should stay in things like Suicide Squad and Green Arrow. A stupid parademon managed to shoot Fl. If it wasn’t for AM, Steppenwolf would have killed Mera. Steppenwolf also almost killed Cb. We all saw that Steppenwolf is no match for SM.

Nice summary. You could have kept it short and say that SM beat the JL, which had WW and AM. Those two are stronger than BM and his allies.

Opening weekend Friday–Sunday

  1. 3.8M – Mortal Kombat
  2. 2.6M – Godzilla v Kong (3.6 mil Wednesday-Sunday)
  3. 2.2M – Wonder Woman 1984
  4. 1.8M – Zack Snyder’s Justice League
  5. 1.4M – The Little Things
  6. 1.2M – Tom & Jerry

Samba tweeted this graph. Most people watched WW84, GvK and Mortal-K on their first day. All the hype and most people didn’t watch ZSJL on its first day. And only 1/3 watched it in its entirety during its opening weekend. I guess people quit when they found out Darkseid forgot where the ALE that can give him the power to rule the multiverse was or when they found out that the MB, after being on Earths for thousands of years, woke up after 34 yo SM died because it was afraid of him. This is just too much nonsense for a superhero fan. Add the tiresome slo-mo with boring music and the annoying scenes that don’t help the story but are there just to make the film longer. rolling_eyes

OMG, what a stupid way to introduce Iris. Nobody mentions her name. How does anybody know she's Iris? If another actress plays Iris in the Flash film, we'll never know that the girl in the car accident in ZSJL was Iris.

Flash: You’re the girl from the accident. OR Iris: You’re the guy who rescued me.

Or something like that. But that won’t happen, because JWJL doesn’t have the car accident and JWJL is canon. WB made that clear again by releasing the Justice League 4K Trailer two days ago. The ZS fans were furious.

It looks like WB execs won’t let the ZS fans bully them this time with their #RestoreTheSnyderVerse. Two can play that game. rofl

The WB execs are doing a little bullying too. They refuse to mention ZSJL, but they bragged about GvK. They released the trailer to say the trilogy is completed. And now this 4K JWJL trailer.

If another actress plays Iris in the Flash film, we'll never know that the girl in the car accident in ZSJL was Iris.

I heard the same actress will be in the Flash.

'MORTAL KOMBAT' ANNIHILATES THE 'SNYDER CUT' ON HBO MAX

Mortal Kombat is said to have been watched by 3.8 million U.S. households in its opening weekend on HBO Max, while the Snyder Cut was only watched by 1.8 million.

Flixpatrol has no streaming data for Mortal-K. astonished

Justice League: When People Turned Off The Snyder Cut

The competition is heating up between different streaming services, but in truth, it's difficult to properly figure out how the various rivals are performing. Viewing figures are valuable data, and the companies rarely disclose them so as not to tip their competitors off in strategic terms. Consequently, to factually understand how a TV show or movie has performed for a streaming service, it requires going to a third-party analytics company.

Samba TV has proved itself particularly valuable when it comes to analyzing the performance of Zack Snyder's Justice League. The analytics service revealed 1.8 million households watched the Snyder Cut over its opening weekend, and HBO Max viewing figures have almost doubled since its release a month and a half. However, it's important to note that Samba counts a viewer as anyone who has watched just five minutes of a film or TV show - and, given the Snyder Cut runs to four hours in length, those figures aren't really representative of the film's performance.

Screen Rant has spoken exclusively to Samba TV for an update, and they revealed only 39 percent of U.S. households actually finished the Snyder Cut. In fact, the typical (median) U.S. viewer turned it off after 197 minutes - surprisingly, the scene where Superman enters the Batcave and heads off to join the final battle against Steppenwolf. It's a surprising moment to leave the film, perhaps indicating people watched 3 hours and decided they'd had enough, intending to come back later and finish it off, but never getting around to it.

The Snyder Cut was four hours in length, and Samba's data suggests the popular view - that this film was just too long - was indeed correct. Streaming services measure success against metrics such as engagement and retention; Zack Snyder's Justice League is unlikely to have helped much with either, given 61 percent of U.S. audiences never even finished it. This is sad news for those who are campaigning to "Restore the Snyderverse," because HBO will look at data like this and judge the Snyder Cut to have been of minimal benefit.

Curiously, the Snyder Cut was received differently in other countries. In the U.K., for example, Samba revealed the median viewer watched 225 minutes - meaning they turned off during the Knightmare scene that was intended as a potential setup for future Snyder stories. While this is better news, suggesting U.K. viewers were more engaged with the Snyder Cut, it still implies the average viewer isn't invested in seeing the Snyderverse continue.

3.7M US households have watched Zack Snyder's Justice League in its first 39 days on HBO Max.

They saw a little of it in BvS and it was heavily criticized. Thanks to Fl’s appearance, they knew the nightmare will continue in the sequel. It’s too freaking dark! Fans were tired of so much joyless. ZS also put JL’s Joker in it. JL’s Joker was the most hated character in SS. Again, loud noise for JL’s Joker on socials, but many didn’t care to actually watch that scene.

Justice League Maker Zack Snyder Was Scared That Warner Bros Would Sue Him!

Snyder had to back out of superhero film in May 2017 […]. He was replaced by Joss Whedon, who changed the film, which did not go down well with fans.

A huge public uproar resulted in the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign.

“I was more worried the studio would sue me. Do something to silence me,” he said, according to contactmusic.com.

“Here’s the reality. That fandom raised $750,000 for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. They’ve saved lives. That’s a fact. But on the other hand, was it fun to provoke them? For a clickable thing? Yes. And they were an easy target. But they continue to raise money,” he said.

On the one hand, I must know how it ends. On the other hand, I know SM will finish the fight. They probably thought that too. That’s also how JWJL ends. They probably don’t know about Fl.

But on the other hand, was it fun to provoke them? For a clickable thing? Yes. And they were an easy target. But they continue to raise money. There are not a lot of fan communities whose primary objective, other than seeing work of a guy they like, realized their other main thing was to bring awareness to mental health and suicide prevention. For me, it’s kind of hard to be mad at them.”

A knowledgeable source says Gadot had multiple concerns with the revised version of the film, including "issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in Wonder Woman. She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next."

More aggressive than being photographed holding human heads in her hand? More aggressive than decapitate Steppenwolf? lol I really doubt it. Tell what JW wanted you to do that was more aggressive or shut up.

Snyder Cut Released In China And Smashes Records

Zack Snyder’s Justice League (aka the Snyder Cut) has finally been released in China via the video-sharing website Bilibili and it’s broken all streaming records on the site.

They [WB] didn’t apply for release in Chinese cinemas, and it’s no secret that the movie would have done very well in Chinese theaters.

What’s ended up happening is that the film was released on Bilibili.

The movie’s actually had 3.98 million plays. The 7 million number includes trailer plays. However, that’s still an incredible number for just one day.

The film can also only be rented on the platform – it can’t be bought. Once rented, the user will have seven days to watch the film.

But ZSJL wasn’t released in theaters anywhere. thinking

Rumor has it that Warner Media (WM) forbid China to release ZSJL in theaters. Apparently, China had to fight WM to acquire the rights to legally stream ZSJL. China Vision Network bought it and then sold it to other Chinese platforms like Bilibili, iQiyi, Migu, Tencent, Youku, Mango TV, Pumpkin Movie etc. It’s said WM won’t get a penny if it is a success on those platforms.

Why WB Won’t Release Zack Snyder’s Justice League Numbers

There have been so many people asking me personally why Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max are staying silent as far as Zack Snyder’s Justice League numbers are concerned.

Well, the answer is two-fold: there’s a gagging order on Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Warner Bros. Pictures wants the SnyderVerse to die.

There’s a gagging order on Zack Snyder’s Justice League because Warner Bros. Pictures executives do not want the SnyderVerse to continue.

Then, many SnyderVerse fans are asking themselves why Warner Bros. Pictures is so adamant about ending the SnyderVerse?

In the end, it all comes down to money and ego.

Warner Bros. Pictures is cash poor. They’ve been struggling for quite some time, but the pandemic’s made things pretty dire for WB.

This is the main reason why the SnyderVerse has to die for WB (in their heads). They see it as being way too expensive a venture for them to carry on. Snyder’s films weren’t cheap to make, and they were only getting more and more expensive for WB. They saw a way out, and they are taking it. As far as WB’s execs are concerned, they had to end it.

What happened with Justice League [2017] was a huge embarrassment for WB execs. Most of those guys are gone, but some of them are still around to this day and they are feeling bitter towards Snyder and the people they see as being supporters of his. As far as they’re concerned, they want the SnyderVerse gone. Finished. And they want it done soon.

So, this all relates back to the company-wide gagging order that was issued by WarnerMedia.

The whole of WarnerMedia was not allowed to even discuss the SnyderVerse and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

People have been asking me why Jason Kilar hasn’t said anything since the release of the Snydercut on HBO Max.

Well, I will go into that in more detail in a moment, but to cut a long article short, it’s because there’s been a gagging order within WarnerMedia itself.

Unless they’re approved by the company’s (WarnerMedia in this case) lawyers and PR ‘experts’, then they cannot make any public statement.

This includes any sort of message on Twitter celebrating the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League and thanking Zack himself.

I was told that WarnerMedia specifically was furious with Zack for having done as many interviews with YouTubers as he did.

“WarnerMedia reps kept on pleading with Zack not to do any more interviews with YouTubers,” I was told by an inside source.

That was the main reason why Zack was trying to distance himself from Geeks And Gamers in that recent live stream which subsequently blew up.

So they signed a contract that will prevent them from doing a little ZSJL promo on their socials? This keeps getting weirder and weirder. I honestly thought the actors are too busy and haven’t had time to watch that long movie.

Whether they promote it or not, WB will decide if they’ll give it a sequel or not. And doesn’t trending on Twitter mean that a lot of people are aware? That’s a genuine Q. I don’t have Twitter. So I don’t know or care about it.
