Discuss 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Oh boy, this is going to be good.

Pole reverted to form. A slight hitch in plans and Crazy Pole comes out. Why in the world does he have to bring all that baby stuff with him? I'm pretty sure you can buy those things in Brazil. Mama Pole was the star of the show for me. Refusing to be a cosponsor. She is right, he chose this now he has to make it work. He is a grown ass man, at least chronologically. So we found out that the minimum income to apply for visa without a sponsor is 26K. WTF? How does he think he is going to support a wife and child on less that that? Same applies to all these morons who need a sponsor (I'm looking at you, Nicole and Danielle).

Then we have Jenny. She gets catfished but decides to marry the guy anyway. 30 year age difference? Sumit, likes white girls enough to marry a 60 year old one. I just about choked on that.

I want to root for Tiffany and Ronald, but the stakes are just too high. Yes people should be given a second chance, or a third chance to clean up their lives. However, the consequences of his addiction have been very severe. His own mother sent him to jail (probably for the best, but it says a lot). Addiction is so difficult to break. They clearly love each other, but she will be thousands of miles and at least an 18 hour flight away from any support system she has. And there is a child involved.

The previews for the show had it looking like Evelin and Corey were the real deal. That girl is one stone cold user. I mean, she has the coldest, deadest eyes of any woman I've seen on this show since Anfisa. They are basically a younger, better looking version of Scott and Lizzie from Love After Lock Up. I don't think she really wants him to move to Ecuador. She will just bleed him dry and move on to the next sucker.

I guess there are least two more couples that were not featured in this episode. I am really interested in the Korean and his American girl. That is a dynamic that we haven't seen before, Asian Male with American female. An out of wedlock pregnancy to boot.

OK, the South African one. Does anyone remember oh what was her name, Angela? And her Nigerian guy? At least she smartened up and came back to the U.S. without him!

Au, contraire! There is no immunity against the

Angela and Michael are together and filming.

But why won't women learn that relationships with these types of guys will only end in disaster?

Are you serious?! I thought she dumped him because of all the crap she kept finding out! I think they don't learn because they are lonely and obviously from their histories they have a lot of trouble with relationships and maybe don't have the social skills to make relationships work. Ergo, they then suddenly think that finding younger men from other countries they might be able to control will be the relationship which works. Maybe? That's the only thing I can come up with. I hate to bring her up because I am so sick and tired of her, but look at Danielle. She's a disaster in ALL her relationships, including her kids! She just doesn't have the proper/needed social skills and thought that Mohammad, being as young as he is, would think she was some great catch, and at the time obviously didn't care that he was using her. But now she does. Further, look at the "relationship" she had right after that. The guy wouldn't even answer the door when she arrived. And then there's the guy she was supposedly dating for a while who wouldn't come on camera. She doesn't know how to pick the right guy. She keeps going for ANYONE who pays attention to her for five minutes, and then when they really get to know her, they dump her. She's too mentally unbalanced and emotionally she's also very young. Her kids are more mature than she is. I've said that before. It's really sad.

Why is Ms. South Africa taking her kid away from their support system for a man, who has failed her time and time. Plus, I see she subscribed to the Nicole school of thought of having her child call someone they never physically met -- dad.

How much is the call center paying Simit? He can't afford an apartment for $350/mo, not even living with his parents?

Pole running over to Brazil with nothing for the baby, and Karine's brother was correct. Why hasn't Pole attempted to learn Portuguese?

Why did Laura marry some young buck within nine days of meeting him? Sex? Yes for her but green card for him. There's no way that they couldn't sneak in a little boom boom w/o authorities not knowing they aren't married? It's not as if she's going to get pregnant, but Laura wonders about that. So. . .

Danielle wants a young hot stud, who will also love her, and take care of the bills. A fantasy creature that doesn't exist in her reality.

If she was sensible, she would lower her standards in the looks department. Maybe, she would find someone who will at least take her out on a date and share the cost of the bills. However, she needs to get right in the head and lose some weight.

He probably doesn't make very much. The Indian Rupee isn't worth much. Currently $1.00 USD will get you 69.81 Rupees. But to be quite honest, the apartment is very nice looking. But was he serious that there was no hot water? And he's smart with his "When you get mad at me, I won't need to sleep on the floor," because I can easily see them fighting a lot and him needing the guest bedroom.

The weight doesn't really matter. It's her personality which really matters and hers sucks. Again, she has no social skills, and she flies off the handle too easily and doesn't understand how relationships really work. But you're right in that she expects too much from the men she's attracted to. She needs to find someone with a really good personality, but she's not ready for that, and she may never be.

I get that, but he's been living with his parents for years. Surely, he had some money saved after helping out his folks. It seems as if he's relying too much on his paycheck for this rent.

But to be quite honest, the apartment is very nice looking. But was he serious that there was no hot water?

It's typical not to have hot water in hot climates, because it's not really needed for a shower.

And he's smart with his "When you get mad at me, I won't need to sleep on the floor," because I can easily see them fighting a lot and him needing the guest bedroom.

Hmmm... I see Jenny too horny to refuse a lay.

If her standards were set in the right place, her weight probably not a big deal. Getting right in the head, absolutely.

Could this be the start of a long con by Sumit? He can't afford this apartment forever, hmmm, who will pay when he can't? Jenny, at least, is fully committed or she is the unknown Meryl Streep cousin. She just comes across as really naive. I think this could be a hard one to watch.

Karine has had ample evidence of Pole's character, now her brother nails it. She has steamrolled this relationship from the beginning and shows no sign of letting up. I wonder if it's all about TV fame?

SA, so she has experienced his gambling addiction and subsequent bad behavior and still plans to marry him immediately after he gets out of rehab? I had some hope for these two, but damn she needs to slow her roll. The things we do for love, indeed.

Aladin probably views his marriage to Laura as a temporary marriage, as practiced by some Muslims.

Looks like we may be finally going to Korea next week. I've been looking forward to that one.

I can already tell that I am going to love Jihoon. Really looking forward to this one. They both seem like a couple of airheads. Throw in the disapproving Korean parents and and you have TV gold.

Not much from Jenny and Sumit. That scene in the bazaar felt very staged. She's been to India before so she must have been in a rickshaw.

SA, man I want to be a believer. Their feelings are obviously real. The closet romantic in me is coming out. His addiction is serious though and there is so much potential for disaster here.

Equador. Dude, she is waving a great big sign that says, KISS OFF. She is just not that into you and you have spent all your money. It's all over but the crying.

She is very naive. I'm surprised she was able to live this long on the planet with such a lack of judgment. I guess with age came no wisdom for Jen.

Karine reminds me of a teenager. She wants her toys and sexy times with Pole, as odd as that may seem. I don't think she loves him, but he might be able to give her a blue-eyed baby.

She is way too desperate. I forgot how those two met, but she needs to walk away from Mr. SA.

Looks like we may be finally going to Korea next week. I've been looking forward to that one.

The next episode looks good, but I was too tired to watch more than ten minutes of it.

OK, I'm sorry, but what the hell is it with Corey??? Why can't he see she does not love him? It's so obvious even without her admitting it to her friends as she did. She reminds me of the woman who stood up that guy who went to Brazil? Columbia? The guy who was a geek but had potential until he screwed things up with the second woman whom I really liked and had he chosen her first, they could have made a go of things. Plus, if Corey's really that desperate that he wants a relationship with an abusive woman, he doesn't need to go to another country. There are PLENTY of bitchy, cold women in America he could find!

It is hard to imagine how anyone can be that clueless. He seems to have had a pretty sheltered upbringing, but come on. He i s 32 years old. She is basically telling him, with words and actions, that she is done with him. He just refuses to listen.

Yep, sign me up!

Dangit! That's right.

It is warming my cold heart too. I am rooting for them, but I want them to live in the US. I feel bad for her mom not being near her.

He got scammed for sure!

I think he knows, but he still has a mustard seed of doubt that she loves him.

So true.

The term stringing along has a picture of Evelyn dangling Corey like a puppet. She won't tell him in his face that she doesn't love him, because he's her insurance in case she needs funds.
