OK, from all I could read about this, I don't see more than 38 episodes mentioned. IMDB only shows 13 episodes, so it must not be up to date.

This post covers up through the beginning 20 minutes of episode 66

Poor Seda Bakan. She has to play Eda in a scene where Moron is trying to sleep with her for the first time. Moron watched some movies with her to get her in the mood. And he took her to a fancy restaurant and stuck her with the bill, though Eda didn't mind. Now he wants to put his move on her. But she wanted their first time to be special somehow. He lunges to kiss her but the movement hurts his arm. Lucky for her he is still injured or she may have been forcibly violated. If Eda is holding out for a romantic or thoughtful approach by Moron, then there is no danger of them sleeping together. That is just not within Moron's wheelhouse. He doesn't have the foggiest notion of how to make it special for her. He can't understand what is wrong. He doesn't see why she won't sleep with him now. They watched a couple of movies after all. That is supposed to get her in the mood. When Moron doesn't get what he wants, he resorts to one of several behaviors. He lies and makes promises he either cannot keep or has no intention of keeping, or he whines and tries to make the other person feel guilty and feel sorry for him (I'me expecting this from him here), or he gets angry and starts blaming people besides himself. Eda wants foreplay. Moron thinks that's what the movie is for. And besides he says, I kissed you before (the night he left his wedding, as if that counts as foreplay this evening).

You're right. Something has put Eda's self-esteem in the negative figures. Maybe she is trying to work off some bad karma, to attone for some awful sin, and this is her pennance. But nothing could be so bad that she would have to lower herself to this.

HA. Now the idiot is trying to tell Eda that she kissed him the night of his wedding. She tells him, no she did not kiss him. He nods his head with that stupid knowing grin, oh yes you did. I felt the pressure on my lips' he tells her. I think this is starting to make Eda a bit angry. She says: "I think you should close this topic. I didn't kiss you there." Moron persists: "Pressure on the lips? Low pressure." It is harder for her to see the cuteness in this stupidity of his, but she doesn't become angry yet. And (yecchh) she cuddles with Moron. So Moron has decided to wear her resistance down with a constant drip of stupidity and pleading. God I hope it doesn't work.

Ghost tells Vulture that Suna has a screw loose, that she behaves like her sister is living with her in that house, but that there is no one else in that house. Vulture says he must tell Behzat about this since they are working together, and he has a right to know if she isn't playing with a full deck. Memduh's goons hijacked a shipment of AR15 type rifles which were not authorized by him, or that he wasn't informed were being trafficked in his territory, something like that. --Memduh gives the order that no one is to touch Funda. So she is somehow important to him, and definitely has a connection to him. But he wants a meeting with Resat and Bahri. Apparently they are the ones who were doing a side deal with these rifles, cutting him out and making money on the side (not paying the vig). I expect he will shoot them with their own rifles. Then he announces to his goons that there will be no more bosses. From now on, everyone will follow shithead. So he will be back in the picture before long I expect. ...then Memduh does a William Tell bit with a radio on one of his goon's heads. In a famous last words scene, the goon asks if the rifle has been sighted in. No, I was wrong. I thought he would shoot the guy but he didn't.

More unexplained pixelating out of stuff, a hand, a face. I don't know why we shouldn't see them. Weird.

Moron at the crime scene victim, tells Behzat "He was beaten badly-He doesn't have a brain anymore". When he says stuff like that, I always have a comeback in mind. Looks like a relative then, eh? Selim is on the scene as well. He says someone checked the victim's ID before he arrived so he will have to start proceedings, i.e. write up Moron. He keeps looking for ways to needle Moron and try to get him in trouble. Behzat tells him to fuck off. Selim knows what he is doing of course. If he can create a mountain of negative entries in Moron's file he can kill him with a thousand tiny cuts. Selim can hide behind the fact that he is technically correct that it was procedurally wrong for Moron to touch the body before CSI got done. But it seems nobody in the homicide bureau pays any attention to those procedures. Still, if Selim only writes up Moron, he will accomplish his mission eventually. But for now Selim bows to Behzat.

Oh My God. Moron tells Vulture "What don't you understand? I am the popular one of this group. I need to know first. When you learn something, come to me. Tell everything to me. To me. I'm not a flower pot. You can't treat me like I'm a flower pot. I'm Harun Sianoglu." Vulture says: "You're unstable." Moron says: "I yelled for nothing. Come on."

"I am the popular one of this group"? Really? He really is a delusional fellow who can only see the world he imagines. He is a functional Ceyda.

Ghost tells Behzat that Suna is talking to her sister, but her sister is not there. He knows Behzat used to see Berna, and says he wonders if it is something like that. Anyway, Behzat knows this now. The pieces are starting to accumulate now. Behzat will now take notice of Suna. His mind will start to process things regarding her. He will eventually put things together, remember past events in the light of new revelations, make connections, until suddenly it will hit him and he will have to investigate to verify what he has figured out. Ghost is now going to investigate Emel, Suna's ghost sister. I have a feeling things are going to come together soon on the finger cutter killer case. Your wish will come true.

Oh man Oh man - I can't say any more until you watch ep 67. It is carnage.

WOW. Episode 66 had some big revelations.

Bumbling Serket couldn't act normally around Funda if his life depended on it. She shows up and he says she should have called first, asks why she came, and he looks nervous. Even a fake psychologist can tell something is up with him. She says she will do some shopping and they will talk later. Serket acts like he is buried with work and won't be done anytime soon. She knows he isn't happy to see her and says so. He denies it, says he is just busy, and will call her when he gets free.

Well, I can't wait for episode 67; I just read your post.

Pride come before a fall. Selim is full of himself, thinks he is untouchable, shows his ass to Eda, and tells her she will regret breaking up with him. hahahaha. Will she? Not unless it was her dream to suffer a relationship with a philandering sociopath, corrupted by and drunk on the power he thinks he gets from associating with criminals. If she always dreamed of meeting a man like that, then maybe she would regret it. Selim even brags that he doesn't care what Behzat thinks anymore. Selim is a bad apple through and through. I don't like Moron, but he is less culpable because he isn't a criminal. Moron can even be forgiven a little because he is a simpleton and he is delusional. He is a rude, lying, selfish, ass, but there is a part of him that wants to do the right thing. Selim is missing that part. Selim isn't a simpleton. Selim has thoroughly sold out to the dark side. It will be nice when he is exposed, and when eventually he has to pay the price for his decisions and actions.

From what Memduh told those guys I figured there would be a Godfather type takeover coming soon. He said he was done with bosses and everyone would work for Excrement. The only way to effect that is to kill all the bosses. From what you said, it must be a bloodbath.

Cevdet is a clueless idiot. I am harsh because he isn't innocent and he is picking up bad habits from Moron. I am not prejudiced against people who are not very bright. Some of the best people you will ever meet are not very intelligent. They are trustworthy, caring, humble, and the kind of people you enjoy knowing. But low intelligence people who think they know better than their bosses, or who are dishonest, or who are rude, or who are corrupted by the power they are entrusted with, however little it is, such people don't deserve any consideration just because they're not as smart as the average person. They know the difference between right and wrong, and choose wrong. Even if they don't know how badly things can go wrong because of their mistakes, they are just as guilty for the fallout. I guess I give them a small break for their tendency to be gullible, but if they didn't make wrong choices when it comes to following the rules they know they agreed to follow, and when it comes to being honest, that vulnerability would be minimized. Cevdet is basically a nice enough person, but allows himself to be influenced by Moron in ways he should know better about. And his decision to ignore Esra's orders that time revealed a serious character flaw. He thinks he knows better than his superiors.

I am not feeling very generous toward any of these idiots this morning, am I? LOL

Now Cevo is at Selim's and asking about Eda. Now Selim brags that no one can hurt him. Cevo has never heard him speak this way.

Suna is freaking out because she can't find the photo Ghost took and is there to return. Ghost gives her the photo and says he needed it. He confronts Suna, asking where Emel is. Suna says she is sleeping. Ghost cannot see her on her bed, but Suna says there she is, quiet or you will wake her. Ghost now knows she has a real problem and confronts her. Suna tells him "they hurt her a lot". Suna breaks down. Ghost tries to break through her delusion, stupidly. He doesn't know how close he is to real danger. Suna goes nuts. I don't know why I am detailing this, you have already seen it.

Serket meets with Behzat and surprise, their mother is there. Looks like there is tension between them. He thinks her coming back is too little too late.

A message is sent to Memduh. I see what caused the bloodbath you indicated.

Uh oh, Behzat has left arm pain, heart attack sign. Is this a dream? He and Sule are talking about her dead mother as though they have both seen her ghost. Now she is bleeding his arm to cure his pain. Weird. The ghost is jealous and wants Sule to hurt Behzat. Didn't she already do that? This ghost just can't be satisfied. Time to call The Ghost Busters and get rid of her. They can take care of Emel while they are at it. And lock Suna up in the nuthouse for the criminally insane. The homicide bureau has their hands full with murders inspired by living people. Sule told her dead mom she can't hurt Behzat now, that she can't be happy if she does. Behzat believes in some medieval medical practices. Sule puts a tournaquet on him but she cut too deep and can't stop the bleeding. OH good. It was a dream. Esra was sleeping on his left arm and put it to sleep.

Wow. Is that Behzat's mother? Is she a crime boss? This could explain one reason that Excrement likes messing with Behzat. She tells Memduh that shithead cannot hurt her, she isn't afraid of youngsters.

Ceyda is out and acting normal, but I don't trust her. I think she is planning something.

Who is Funda? Memduh asks if the boss found out who she is. It seems the boss is Behzat's mother. Memduh is planning a major coup

"In short time, there will be nobody to protect Behzat and his brother."

Hey, for the first time ever we see detectives apprehend a guy without calling out to him from 20 yards away "hey, we are cops come to arrest you; start running now for the chase scene." Moron and Vulture capture Orhan

I just noticed something that explains why Suna would kill Cicek (and now I am betting you were right about that). In a flashback she tells Behzat "Ayla would never talk if Cicek didn't die." Could that be a motive for her to kill Cicek? Not that she would need more of a motive than to keep her from telling people she was the killer.

Eda tracked Selim to Memduh's van. Selim had lied to Memduh about the report on the badge getting out. Why do these guys think they can lie and get away with it? LOL Now he is facing the music. Of course he lies some more. He gets to live a little longer to serve Memduh.

Behzat's crime boss momma is in the hospital. Did someone poison her? How did they get to her?

Crazy Suna still has Ghost. The team finds the box of fingers.

All I will say is that I found the killer of Cicek to be implausible - and I think the writers cheated us a bit on that score. I also find the idea of Beserks mother being a crime boss too ridiculous for words - and what they say poisoned her highly unlikely if you know anything at all about poisons. Once again she didn't say anything meaningful besides I looked after you. Well - that explained a lot - I was wondering why he hadn't been sacked years ago for the way he behaves. I don't think Eda has told anybody what happened when she followed Selim - she doesn't even need to know who was in the van to find it suspicious and she should have reported it to Beserk straight away. I think Selim will mess up something else and he will be killed by Memduh - or rather Bahri (black earring man) who seems to be his hitman of choice. Who does Azeyes think he is - sitting in the homicide room and telling Beserk to get out - giving orders out right left and center as if he was actually in charge rather than Beserk - why does he put up with it? - I hope he will be written out now - I can't stand much more of him. Vulture's story is so complex I can hardly follow it (no surprise there!!) I'm probably wrong but it seems like his girlfriend of youth - is it Nasri? not sure - anyway she was raped by his uncle - and when it came out her parents forced her to marry her rapist - he was then killed by somebody - and she went back home but they chucked her out for shaming them and sent her to another family in a different town. It gets murky here - I think she was abused there as well and ran away. At any rate she and Vulture are a platonic item now and on the one hand he wants to leave but on the other he doesn't want to leave homicide. I don't know how that will work out. Anyway - stand by for Excrement to return and all hell to break loose for Beserk !!!!

Episode 67

Did you see when Vulture said Ghost couldn't smell that bad in one day, and Moron began angrily shouting how Ghost could go a week without showering and not smell that bad, etc.? AND BEHZAT SLAPPED HIM ACROSS THE FACE AND TOLD HIM TO CALM DOWN. Oh, God, that was GREAT. That needs to happen several times per episode. Vulture was giving him good news, and Moron was agreeing with him, yet he was still angrily shouting at Vulture. There is stupid, and then there is Moron.

When Cevo told Esra how that car has a self parking feature, I thought for sure he was going to wreck the thing.

I was right. They poisoned her. How else would they get past her security to get to her? Excrement put someone in her inner circle close enough to poison her. I see what you mean, arsenic poisoning. Usually you hear of chronic arsenic poisoning conducted over a long period of time, affecting multiple systems. But there is also acute arsenic poisoning which can cause encephalopathy leading to coma and death. So it is possible they gave her a huge one time dose.

OK, I am not too surprised. "If Behzat knew about my murders..." Aziz tells Suna. No wonder he protected and helped her. I now think he is the original finger cutter killer. No WONDER he and Suna are so close. It looks like they do have a mentor protege relationship. But old Bug Eyes sounds like he isn't down for killing an honest cop. He doesn't want to kill Ghost. So now I wonder if he will betray Suna, killing her to save Ghost and protect himself. I wondered what happened that night when she had him at gunpoint and didn't kill him. I am betting now that he told her he was the original finger cutter and that he would help protect her. If he does kill Suna, Behzat will still figure him out. Will he arrest bug eyes or will the old guy decide to do himself in?

OK, no, I was wrong about that I guess. If bug eyes was the original, Suna knows nothing about it.

I think Funda is lying to Sevket. Memduh wanted to know if Sevket's mother knew who Funda was. Funda said his mother sent her to Sevket. You would think that if the mother sent Funda, she would probably know all about Funda, right? Maybe not, but that is a question for me.

Looks like I was wrong about Ceyda. She seemed genuine when she saw Behzat at home.

Cevdet found out that Vulture's old girlfriend was one of the women abused by the men in the finger cutter killer case. Don't tell me she is involved in the killings also. That would be devastating for Vulture.

whoops. I guess it matters less now who Funda was. bullet to the forehead. She is done.

They were right behind Suna. How did she have the chance to get that guy out of the car and into the building before they turned the corner?

Hanri, the no good bastard, finished the job at the hospital. But why didn't she just pull her IV? It takes a minute for the drug to drip down the line.

I think the original killer is Vulture's old girlfriend, not Vulture.

Well, this series of deaths wasn't what I was expecting. So...now that the boss is gone, and Sevket and Behzat don't have anyone protecting them, and Excrement is the new boss, what does that look like for Behzat and company?

I am a bit puzzled - the episode I just watched was 67 and you haven't mentioned some absolutely major developments - the episode I saw concluded the finger killer story and things were revealed that are going to absolutely explode Beserk's life. Had you seen them you would definitely have remarked on them. I have thought for a while reading your posts that we don't seem to be on the same page sometimes. Are your episodes still an hour and twenty minutes or so? I dare not comment because it will ruin the story for you. I thought the same as you with the car parking scene - and to me - with my limited knowledge of vehicles - it's a car - not a jeep. Jeeps are those thing's that G.I.'s ride around in!! Ok - I know you get more modern ones now - but it is still not a jeep. It seemed more like an advert for the vehicle. Where did this episode end for you?

It ended with his mother's death in the hospital, I think. I am most of the way through 68 now. Excrement is back and he has kidnapped Esra and negotiated Cem's release in exchange for her life. And Cevo just told Moron that Selim knew he had brought flowers to Eda when he was attacked, so Moron knows Selim was there.

The finger cutter killer case was solved last episode. I didn't do a play by play summary of the last episode. Suna killed herself, Ghost was freed, old bug eyes role in protecting her was never revealed. Cevdet thinks Vulture was the original finger cutter killer, but I don't. I think it is his girlfriend who did the killing back then. I saw all that.

I thought the guy who killed Cicek as a way to pin it all on Aziz was an alright person for the role. He said he had nightmares from the beatings Aziz had given him even after he falsely confessed. (As small and frail as bug eyes is, I don't think he could give too much of a beating unless he used a bat or something). His long prison sentence was his own fault though. On the one hand, it seemed like he got pretty upset over a beating by the police all those years ago. But then again, this is Turkey. People kill people for holding hands outside of marriage, or so it seems. They kill for hardly anything, according to this show. There are some crazy people there.

Anyway, I think we both saw the same episode. I just didn't comment on all the developments. I had been doing that but started to think it was sort of pointless since I was telling you things you already knew. I didn't have any major opinions on the episode. Also, I was finding it hard to get through it because I was busy with stuff today, so I didn't take as much time to make notes on it as I normally do. I like to pause the show when I type so I don't miss any of the show. I can type without looking at the keys, but I don't always do the best job when I do that. I need to watch the computer screen to catch my typos.

I thought that car didn't look like a Jeep either. I didn't notice the markings for a Jeep. They make modern looking Jeeps these days. They still make the Wrangler, the thing that looks like what the GIs used in WWII, but they also have a line of SUVs that look similar to what they were calling a Jeep in the show. But I didn't think it was an actual Jeep. Then again, some people use the name Jeep as a generic term for a 4 wheel drive sports utility vehicle, so maybe that is how they were using the word. I don't know. But as far as the actual brand named vehicle, I don't think that was a JEEP.

second comment.

Moron and his idiot mother blew up at Asli because she went with Cevdet one afternoon when he was shopping for his own flat. Moron accused her of wanting to live with him and said he would kill her. He had a fit at work also and Eda stepped in.

But Moron has gone to Eda's flat twice now and spent the night, just hanging out, no sex. Eda didn't like it when her neighbor came out to meet Moron as they entered the flat. Once inside Moron chided Eda for worrying what her neighbor thought, saying they were a modern couple. When Eda brought up Asli and Cevdet Moron said that was different. For one thing he is bigger than Cevdet.

Eda is sure overlooking some major issues with Moron. He comes into her place, takes off his socks and tosses them under the TV. She tells him to pick up his socks but he lays down on the couch, explaining that the socks are under the TV and he will get them later. The next time he came over he took a shower and then came out wearing a terrycloth bath robe. Eda asked him to put some clothes on. Moron said he didn't feel like toweling off and wanted to let the bathrobe absorb the water, and then he would get dressed. Eda doesn't like that Moron wants everyone to do what he says. I can't wait for the straw that breaks the camel's back.

I am pretty sure that the guy who kidnapped Azeyes - the original guy who was imprisoned for the murders actually lied when he said he didn't do the murders - he made up some story that he killed his brother and confessed to the murders as a penance for doing that and Beserk and his crew believed that story - but it was a lie - he actually did do the original murders. He confessed this in the car when he kidnapped Azeyes and blew his ear off. I say this rather than let you labour under a false delusion - it wasn't Azeyes - that line about "my murders" I don't think he meant it literally - he was talking about the murders he dealt with in his past and the methods he used to solve them. I was surprised that you didn't mention that Bahri visited Ceyda and told her that Sule killed Berna - "his daughter killed your daughter". Of course Ceyda went ballistic and is now probably set on a course to kill them both. Beserk has given his mother his badge and chucked his gun and ID on the floor. That wont' last long - he needs authority for the way he acts else he will be arrested the next time he punches somebody. I also wondered when Suna said the true story of the murders is in a tin under the milk tray in the fridge - tell the journalist to go and get it - what happened to that? Eda - the writers are making her act like a woman so in love she will overlook issues like the ones you describe - but Eda is not really in love with Moron - there will be a blow up soon and she will throw him out. Of course he will just laugh and say " oh she is just in a mood - she doesn't really mean it - she is just doing it to prove how much she loves me - I am the most popular one after all - she is proud that I let her be my girlfriend". If any guy did that to me I would sock him in the mouth !!

Update - I like your detailed posts - sometimes you pick up on stuff I miss - as I do for you - it's fun !!

If you have not seen the end of episode 69 yet, maybe you'll want to stop. Something BIG, BIG happens. A major character from the start of the show is killed. Behzat does some killing while going after the culprits, and I don't think he is done killing people yet.

I am watching ep 72 now. Behzat went on the hunt for people involved in the murder. He went to one house, killed two guards, then went in and killed a guy in a jacuzzi. So I guess he didn't want to do that stuff while he was a cop. In a couple episodes he has his hair slicked back and he goes into some nightclub undercover trying to get information on who ordered Esra's death. Excrement showed up there and saved his life when they found out he was a cop. He tells Behzat they have the same enemy, that he didn't want Esra dead, so for now they must work together.

I am confused though about something. At one point, Vulture and Nazli were packed up and about to leave town and Aziz stopped him at gunpoint. Then the scene changed to something else. I must have dozed off because I dont' recall them ever returning to that or explaining how it was resolved. Next thing I know Vulture is back with the gang again.

Vulture told Ghost he did the original killings. I thought he only said that to cover for Nazli, that she had done them, but I guess maybe it was Vulture. Ghost couldn't stand to be around Vulture for a while after that, but then they got back as friends again.

Update 2 - something is definitely strange here. I have just watched Ep 68 and I have not seen the incident with the socks that you mentioned and I haven't seen the row with Asli because of the flat. I didn't fall asleep because it's only noon and I saw it all without a break. In the episode I watched Cevdet caught Selim out in his comment about the flowers that Moron had - he told him and Moron went steaming off to Selim's apartment but couldn't get in. The next day he approaches Selim in his office and has a long monologue where he tells him he understands how he feels because he was in the same position when Selim and Eda were an item. I felt this was not in Moron's character at all - he is too much of a child to even think in those terms - let alone forgive and forget. Ceyda asked Beserk to bring Sule to the hospital and after caressing her face tried to tear it apart shrieking "murderer". Sevket who was there just assumed she'd gone barmy again and asked no questions. Excrement is back - he visited Ceyda and was very kind to her - which is puzzling because he kidnapped Esra and forced Beserk to compromise - but Esra wont - so it looks like jail time for her. I think it is not realistic to think that they can prevail against that organisation - the male prosecutor is as dirty as they come and there seems to be nobody above him. Cevdet has told Ghost the story of Vulture and it appears that it was Vulture who killed Nasri's husband who sold her to other men. In the car Ghost says to Vulture apropos of nothing "Just tell me did you do it?" How on earth is Vulture supposed to know what he is talking about? Vulture says "yes" and Ghost gets out of the car and walks away. What has it got to do with Ghost? Why would he be angry at the fact that Vulture killed a guy who sold his wife to other men? I would give him a medal. He knows Vulture - he knows he never speaks of his past or his feelings - why would he take this personally - it doesn't make any sense. Are we supposed to believe that Ghost feels like he doesn't exist as a real person to Vulture - they live together - they save each others lives on a regular basis - that doesn't hold water. I like the actor who plays Excrement - he does it well. He seems to have a personal interest in Beserk - it's as if he thinks of him as a rather snappy dog that he likes too much to put to sleep.

Update - I am totally confused now - I don't believe that Vulture did the original finger cutter killings - that guy in the car with Azeyes said that he did them - there is too much lying in this show - you don't know where you are with all the fake conversations - dreadful continuity - and unconnected and meaningless scenes. If Azeyes is back my television is not safe - I will have to remove all hard objects from the room !!

hahaha. I don't know if you skipped my post above after reading the spoiler warning in bold. Some of what I am about to say happens in the next few episodes. Anyway, Aziz didn't quit investigating. Cevdet actually figured out about Vulture first, then told Ghost who said let me investigate this and don't tell anyone else about it. I will handle it. Ghost went and found a witness who ID's Vulture as the guy following one of the bad guys before he was killed. And later on, Aziz stopped Vulture and his girlfriend as they were about to leave town. holding Vulture at gunpoint, telling him I finally found you and so on. But then the scene switched to something else. I must have dozed off or something because I never saw how that scene was resolved, and I have not seen Aziz since that point. The next I saw Vulture he was back with the homicide team. He and his girlfriend decided she would return to her home and he would go to her in a couple of months. So I missed something important in how that was resolved, or where it now stands with Aziz. ....I wasn't clear on what that guy in the car said to Aziz. I know that Aziz said "aha, so it was you after all." and all that. But that guy said that it wasn't him as the original killer, but that he hated Aziz because Aziz beat him even after he gave the confession, and that was why he tried to set up Aziz as the one who killed Cicek. Moral of the story: don't beat your suspects. So I think that guy really did make a false confession. But I found myself wondering if Vulture said he did it in order to cover for his girlfriend Nazli, that is, that she was the one who snapped and killed the bad men, and that Vulture either helped her or covered up for her, or something. I don't know. In any case, everything points to Vulture and he is saying it was him.

The end of episode 69 has a story changing event. I want to wait til you have seen it before talking about it. But it appears that the person or persons who ordered the killing are not the ones you might think they would have been. There is some power struggle going on. I should leave it at that.

Another comment.

I am wondering if they are setting it up for Vulture to leave the homicide bureau. First there is this about him being the killer from 15 years ago. And he has plans to go live with his girlfriend Nazli, off and on, on hold at the moment as I write. And then there is an incident in which Vulture shoots a suspect who won't drop his gun, and starts to raise it toward Ghost. Ghost gives a statement that he pointed the gun at me and Vulture shot the suspect to prevent him shooting me. Then Vulture gives his statement and he says "I panicked. He started to raise the gun and I fired. But maybe he was going to toss the gun toward Ghost instead of shooting him. We will never know." Major Tahsin is furious with Vulture. He arranges for him to give his statement over again and tell it right this time. He tells Vulture he can be fired if he doesn't say it right this time. Vulture doesn't act like he is all that concerned about that. I am wondering if they are showing him like this, to say he wants to leave and go live with Nazli and he is trying to get let go.

Ever since Excrement came back and killed the boss and took over, the other underbosses have not been happy with the way things have been handled. Memduh had to blackmail some politician to have Excrement accepted as the new mafia boss. That shows there is an unofficial connection between the mafia and the government, and explains how the mafia guys can escape so easily, and get so much information ahead of time, and so on. That male prosecutor who was such an ass to Esra, the one who took over the tender investigation (in order to find nothing there) is definitely working with the mafia, or is taking orders from the dirty politicians to protect them. But there are certainly people in the gov.-mafia power structure who don't like Excrement being the top dog and would like to see him gone. They tried to get Behzat to kill Excrement, or at least to set him up as the killer, but that plan failed.

Excrement is a sort of likable criminal, though he was shown as much more psychotic when first introduced in the story. But he is a smiling killer, a calm killer, he doesn't lose control of himself. There is something almost charming about the way he does these terrible deeds.

Bahri remained loyal to Behzat's mother I believe.

Have you noticed how they always blur out the beer bottles now? I wonder if the censors in Turkey began making them do this. I read that the show came under fire for the drinking and cursing. But probably it was the way it depicts certain cultural things which was the real issue. Anyway, they blur the beer bottles now. I don't recall that from the start of the show.

I am in episode 72 now. Excrement has just found out who ordered the big murder, the one Behzat is trying to get justice for. It was the former undersecretary, someone named Riza Soyer.

Tell me where you are now.
