As you all know, on May 30, 2018, I had surgery to fix a fracture on my upper right femur. My surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Tam (who by the way loves Firefly and Serenity and has the DVD'S) put 3 surgical screws to hold my leg together.
The good news, my leg is healed and I can walk on it. The bad news is that I'm still in a lot of pain, which according to Dr. Tam is not good. So on January 23, 2019 I'm having a partial hip replacement done. I'm starting to like the bionic woman! I just thought that you guys might like to know.

Hello! Yesterday I went to the doctor and had the surgical Staples taken out of my incision. I also got to see an X-ray of my hip replacement. I'M A CYBORG! Please write back as soon as possible because I'm bored, and although I do have pain meds, talking to my friends will help my recovery. Thanks.

Heyy! Sorry I was not on in the last couple of days. But I am here from here on out to help your recovery!
How long are you going to be dealing with this kind of pain? I am glad the ball is rolling with these procedures. I am no longer able to post while at work anymore so that cuts into my posting time and I miss all my friends here. Oh and by the way I see The antman and wasp is up on Netflix so I am going to stay home and watch that tomorrow night
So I will be here on the weekend so post away and I will respond. by the way I see that Spock's beard thread has become one of the hottest threads in themoviedb.org history so I have a lot of reading to catch up on there too lol

I'm happy that I'll be hearing from you more often. Anson Mount, the guy doing Pike, is terrific. Without insulting Greenwood or Hunter, Mount is nailing it. If you can afford $9.99 a month on your Smarth Phone (that's what I pay), get CBS All Access.
And as you know, I adore Michelle Yeoh, and she's coming back, so let the mayhem begin! 'm get too stoned to write, so post back asap! Live Love Love and Prosper!

Hello! I just thought I'd let you know that I'm back in the hospital. On Saturday, February 23rd, while at the ER for something else, my heart started beating 250 beats per minute. Of course, I got admitted (boy, I was very lucky that I was at the hospital when this happened, huh?). Tomorrow or Wednesday I'm going to have an angioplasty to see what happened. I already have 2 Cardiac Stents, but hopefully the angioplasty will find out the cause and appropriate measures can be taken. Please reply as soon as you can. Thanks.

I am glad you posted again. I was starting to get worried. And now after you did I’m still worried. Good luck with the angioplasty and please keep me posted

@mechajutaro : I'm sorry to hear about your eye and I hope things get better for you. Also, I know that I'm lucky, and in a way, so are you. We could both be in Venezuela, where a large part of the population have no medical care at all.

I don't know whether I mentioned it or not, but on Wednesday, Feb. 27th I had a pacemaker installed. I'm too wacked up to write, but I thought I better let my Mission Impossible friends know. I'll post again when I'm not so stoned. Thanks.

You're welcome. Do you know what's really weird, Jayhn? How calm I am about the whole thing. I just had a battery pact installed in my chest, and I know that I my heart's gotten a lot worst or this wouldn't have happened. Actually, the closest hospital in my insurance network that the cardiac facilities was all the way down in Anaheim (I live in the San Gabriel Valley part of Southern California)! Anaheim is an hour south of where I live.
I don't have a car, so my main concern was: how am going to get back home? I was sent home in a taxi, but that's all I could think about. My shrink said (it was my explanation, but he agreed) that my mind felt that my getting home was the lesser of two evils where it came to being worried about stuff. In any case, I've talked too much. How are you? How far have you gotten in Mission Impossible viewing?

How are you now? I am sorry I have not been around but my thoughts were with you during this ordeal. I wish you had somebody there with you during this whole thing. So what happens next with you?

I'm ok. I had some stuff going on. Not as serious as what you have to go through. An infection in the tooth that has to be fixed so I've been going for appointments and working long shifts and I have to have a procedure done that'll take a few separate appointments during the week. So nothing too terrible, just been consumed with all that and work so I haven't had the opportunity to log in as I would've liked. I have not watched a Mission episode in awhile. So I still have a lot of season 6 to watch. I think that episode with Judy and the recording contracts was the last one I watched awhile back. I will definitely get back to it when I have the chance. I am happy to see you here and sorry I didn't log in sooner
