New Gods is the new addition to the DCEU.
Ava DuVernay is stepping into the superhero universe. The filmmaker has come on board to direct “New Gods” at Warner Bros. as part of the studio’s DC Extended Universe. “New Gods,” based on the DC Comics series of the same name, is aimed at creating a new universe of properties for the studio.
DuVernay directed Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” becoming the first woman of color in Hollywood to helm a live-action film with a production budget of $100 million.
The New Gods are natives of the twin planets of New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis is an idyllic planet ruled by the Highfather, while Apokolips is a dystopia filled with machinery and fire pits ruled by the tyrant Darkseid. New Genesis and Apokolips call themselves gods, living outside of normal time and space in a realm known as the Fourth World.

Even WW was sub-par. But it was better than those other two.

I don't understand WB. Why didn't they say anything about NG and BOP? I can't find anything about SS 2 either.

He doesn’t know why the Martha Moment doesn’t make sense? Whoa! How stupid is he?
It does not make sense, because, like Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, Bruce Wayne should have known Superman’s adoptive parents names and address. Like Lex Luthor, Bruce Wayne should have known where Martha works and that Lois Lane is Clark Kent’s girlfriend.
How many times must fans scream that?

Now I understand why BvS and JL sucked. These so-called professionals don’t know crap.

There was a bigger problem than the Martha moment. BM had no reason to hate SM and think he was a threat to Earth.
All these things weren’t enough to make BM curious enough to find out more about SM, like LL and Lex did. He should have known everything about SM a long time ago. He always finds out as much as he can about his insignificant human enemies. Why didn’t he know anything about the alien that could destroy Earth if he wanted to?
All these good things weren’t enough to convince BM that SM was good and no threat. The fact that he has a mother also named Martha instantly convinces him that SM is just a guy who wants to save his mom, therefore good.
How can the most important part of the story of a huge budget film rely on something so lame? Most criminals would do anything to save their moms, but that won’t make them good and it certainly won’t mean they’ll change. And most of the time the woman is their biological mom and they certainly don’t have the powers that SM has.
So why did BM hate SM?
Because the aliens came here for him? Many people died because of him?
Yes, the aliens came here looking for SM. Zod said so, but he didn’t say why he wanted him. BM doesn’t know that SM accidentally activated the beacon and is the carrier of the codex. But if SM was all they wanted, they’d have taken him and leave. But they didn’t. That’s because they were also looking for a new planet. So Earth would have been in danger, whether SM was here or not. Also, if SM could find Earth on his own, so could other Kryptonians. BM couldn’t figure that out?

WB gave BM priority and now MSt will be the first to adapt a Jack Kirby. MSt has confirmed The Eternals (TE) (November 2020). WB could and should have been the first adapting a JK. Darkseid already looks too much like Thanos. But MSt was first.

IMO, this project is more exciting than most things on the 8/22 DC-FD list. So why isn’t it on that list?

Not really a new addition, but a new edition.

About time ZS did something about that crappy color. Maybe this means he’ll stop with that kind of awful color and go back to the beautiful color that he used in MOS.
