ZS may make an appearance at SDCC and WB may let him release his cut if his production company pays to finish it.
Over on Vero (h/t ComicBook.com), one curious DC fan posted a message stating: “Here’s to hoping the boss man himself @ZackSnyder makes it to San Diego Comic-Con this year.” Pretty innocuous, by all accounts, but the director has since ‘liked’ that very post, leading many to speculate that Snyder plans to make an appearance at SDCC next month.
Last we reported, Warner Bros. was allegedly open to the idea of Zack Snyder releasing his unfinished cut on the condition that his production company, Cruel and Unusual Films, foots the bill, given there are likely scores of effects shots still to be completed. All in all, it would be a pretty costly venture for everyone involved, and the fact that Justice League struggled to make much of a dent at the domestic box office only exacerbates the situation.
JM wanted stupid Aquaman joke removed from JL, but they didn’t listen to him.
Very early on in the process, Momoa admittedly appealed to director Zack Snyder to ax a line about how Aquaman/Arthur Curry can talk to fish:
“I’m like, don’t put this line in there, because that’s all people are going to talk about … Do you want me to make him cool or not?”
Unfortunately for Momoa, his character is well known for his ability to chat with creatures of the sea. Batfleck’s Bruce Wayne’s line — “I hear you can talk to fish” — did indeed appear in the film as scripted, and in hindsight, one can easily imagine while watching the clip that Momoa was barely enduring the discussion.
Cavill infamously kept his Mission Impossible mustache during reshoots, resulting in a weirdly CGI'd mouth for the Man of Steel. Now it turns out that the mustache might not be the only part of Superman that was given the CGI treatment, as one fan caught his hands looking very out of place.
a fan noticed that Henry Cavill's hands look very out place. They're lighter than the rest of his skin, and the edges around the writs and his costume are extremely fuzzy. Despite Justice League's absolutely massive budget, there has been plenty of criticism around the film's visual effects. While the most obvious examples are Superman's mouth and Steppenwolf's... everything, it unfortunately translated to other aspects of the blockbuster. Just look at those super fists.
The reason behind using CGI on Henry Cavill's hands actually seems fairly obvious. The actor may simply have been holding them in a weird place, where the scene called for a close fist. Movies and photos change details like that all the time, its just that Justice League perhaps could have done it better.
Justice League director Zack Snyder has, once again, taken to the social media platform Vero to share a never-before-seen image from the filming of the 2017 DC film. The latest photo from the director focuses on the film’s post-credits scene, which featured Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) meeting up with Lex Luthor on his yacht after escaping prison. Check out the image at the link below.
Writing on the filmmaker's social media site Vero, one fan wrote: "I'll just say, I think zack was going for an arc that wasn't concerned with having spin off films and it would have been a self contained world...and I very much like that. A TDK trilogy with the JL that has a beg and end. With diff directors showing respect."
Tagging Snyder, he added: "Would you say I'm thinking in a similar way as you were sir?" – to which the director simply replied: "Yes."
Like Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, this would have allowed a beginning, middle and end, as opposed to the ongoing (and largely disappointing) DCEU.

The original television series is famous for the many Easter eggs and sight gags it works into its backgrounds and the movie continues this tradition, with one mock movie poster depicting Henry Cavill and his mustache showing up several times over the course of the movie.
Teen Titans Go! To The Moviesmakes reference to this with a poster of a mustached man with Superman's trademark spit-curl that bears a striking resemblance to Henry Cavill. The poster first appears outside the movie theater where the Teen Titans crash the premiere of Batman's new solo film, Batman Again. It shows up a second time on the side of a building when the Titans visit the Warner Bros. studio lot in order to ask for their own superhero movie. The poster shows up one final time, alongside Supermanhimself, during a climactic chase scene near the end of the movie.
Seemingly even this was not enough to make the point, however, and there is yet another poster which makes fun of Cavill's mustache. This joke is delivered in the form of a poster for a Detective Chimp solo movie (for those unfamiliar with the character, he's a talking chimp who is also a detective, and currently a member of Justice League Dark). The full title of the movie is Detective Chimp and the Case of the Missing Mustache, with a SupermanS-shield in place of the "S" in "Mustache."

If you introduce a new hero, doesn’t that mean that the story will continue? ZS was going to introduce female Robin to the DCEU.
Having already admitted that he had plans to introduce Supergirl to his Justice League timeline after an Easter egg for the character was spotted in Man Of Steel, Zack Snyder has now confirmed another female superhero would have cropped up in his run of films.
The director and writer introduced the mythology of Batman’s sidekick into the DCEU in Batman Vs Superman with the Robin suit, which hinted at a grizzly end
One user prompted the revelation by flagging a deleted scene from Suicide Squad which sees Batman questioning Harley, which sees the caped crusader talk about the Joker taking ‘something important from me’.
Asking the director if this meant Jason Todd (as that’s what many of us believed who was killed in that Robin suit), Zack replied with an earth-shattering announcement that it was in fact ‘Richard’ – Richard being the full first-name of Dick Grayson, the first Robin who goes onto become Nightwing.
This obviously led to many questions being asked, more specifically if he ever thought about introducing another Robin.
This prompted another reply, with the director briefly stating that Robin would ‘stay dead… till Carrie’.
The character he’s referencing is Carrie Kelly, the girl who pushed Batman to take her one as Robin in Frank Miller’s Batman run.
In an exchange on Vero [via CinemaBlend], a fan asked if the story arc would have ended with a dead Batman. Snyder responded, “Of course.” The death could have been reminiscent of the comics, particularly the Final Crisis event, described by CB as:
In the latest chapter of "Zack Snyder Plays Dumb About the Final Cut of Justice League," the director questions the source of an image of Wonder Woman that was posted on social media service Vero,
When a fan posted an image of Wonder Woman, asking Snyder if he was responsible for the costume design, Snyder replied, "What is this from?" This confirms that either the outfit was designed as part of the film's reshoots, that Snyder enjoys sarcastically distancing himself from the final cut of Justice League, or both.
It likely doesn't help matters that Snyder regularly reminds fans how the final cut of Justice League doesn't reflect his vision, which ultimately reflects poorly on the studio itself, making it unlikely they would want to support the footage of his they didn't like getting a proper release.
ZS says he’ll explain more about the Kryptonian spaceship and its connection to the JL history lesson
Man of Steel featured an abandoned Kryptonian spaceship that had been on Earth 20,000 years ago, which provided Clark Kent with both information about his heritage and his iconic Superman suit. When an inquisitive fan asked Zack Snyder if there was a connection between the spacecraft and the history lesson scene in Justice League, which depicted the Amazons, Atlanteans, and humans uniting to protect Earth from Steppenwolf, the filmmaker said that there is a long answer to that question that will be explained later. However, he did tease that the answer is connected to the empty “cresch” on the spacecraft.
Zack Snyder Reveals Atom Was Originally in His Version of 'Justice League'
Vero user Michael Van Huang recently asked Zack Snyder about a screenshot of a deleted scene from the film, where Silas Stone (Joe Morton) can be seen next to an Asian scientist. As Snyder revealed, the scientist is none other than Ryan Choi, one of the DC Comics characters to take on the mantle of Atom.
Some will certainly be disappointed that Ryan Choi's Justice League cameo was left on the cutting room floor, as Joss Whedon ultimately finished the film after Snyder departed
There's certainly been an ever-growing push for DC and Warner Bros. to release Snyder's cut of Justice League,
"Yep it does [exist]," Oliva wrote on Twitter. "If it doesn’t then what did Zack screen to execs prior to Whedon? If you don’t care for it then step aside because your just parroting what the bloggers are saying without any real knowledge or insight."
Martha! Zack Snyder reveals why Superman couldn't save his mom in Dawn of Justice
Director Zack Snyder answered the question on his usual social media platform of choice, Vero.
"He flies up above the city and hovers," Snyder wrote. "The camera begins to rotate around him as he hears the cries of citywide crime going on and, as we get closer, he is in pain because he knows if he [tries] to find her this way, he will have to ignore the countless crimes going on in the two cities and the world."
Suddenly so many cry for help. How many cry for help did SM ignore when he flew to another continent to save Lois? He can ignore cry for help to save Lois but not his mom.
There will always be multiple cry for help simultaneously. SM will have to make a choice, because even he may or will not be able to save them all.
