Some found it odd Ben was listed as a producer when he originally wasn't listed
I find it odd too when I first heard about it.
Some think he just named Ben to make it look like Ben does more than bodyguard
They are deluding themselves, because Ben was sitting in the production meeting. He's just another opportunist looking for a come-up, and he's not hanging around to be a bodyguard.
British actor Henry Cavill is one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors, an animal friend, with a perfectly trained body. In his latest movie, he finally slips out of Superman costume but plays in "Mission Impossible-Fallout" a dodgy secret agent. In an interview with Patrick Heidmann, the 35-year-old talks about shooting with TC, life in Florida and absurd rumors.
Mr. Cavill, you are considered one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood. You share your life, as we can see in your Instagram account, yes, with someone, right?
Ha ha, in fact, for almost five years. I've had my Akita dog Kal for more than four years. In November he will be five! An incredibly great dog, with an incredible amount of hair. I try to take him on my travels as often as possible. Of course, not always because some trips were just too stressful for him. But he's my accomplice and definitely got around well.
Your screen partner and accomplice in MI6 is now TC. Is he such a special colleague as you always hear?
I cannot express enough! This man lives, breathes and bleeds film. I've never seen anyone who knows how to work in front of and with the camera, like him. It's a pretty unique experience to be with someone as focused and professional as he is. Sounds a bit exhausting too! He can be like any professional. But in between, he is also very relaxed. On set he’s very funny.
Cruise has been a superstar for 35 years. Are you zealous/passionate?
It is very difficult to do it. Because who would not like to make as many great films as he does over such a long period of time? However, Tom has set the bar pretty high. So I have to work hard. But yes, I would be happy if in 15 or 20 years I can even look back on such a career and still shoot action films at his age. Maybe it will work. All in all, I started my career late and many of my roles in the early years, from the series "The Tudors" to "War of the Gods", were actually just the warm-up program. I have only really got going in the past few years.
TC is known for always shooting his own stunts. Do you feel pressured to take such risks yourself?
It did not put pressure on me, it spurred me on. Of course, I am not as experienced as Tom, but the stunts I was able to do myself have provided a real adrenalin kick. Now I am hooked and want to have more. Recently, for example, I have gotten my motorcycle license and will now properly practice, so I'm allowed to drive in the next movie itself.
How is it that you now live in Florida?
Have you ever looked at the weather there? I love that there is always summer. Especially because I used to miss the summer so often, because I shot the whole year and only a few weeks off the clock over Christmas. In addition, I simply have much more space there than in London, where I also spend a large part of my time. There it is so expensive that you can be happy to find an affordable small apartment at all.
In the spring there was the rumor that you had died. What's the most absurd thing you've ever read about yourself?
That was on Wikipedia, I was dead, was certainly the most remarkable. (laughs) Because I did not understand how anyone could come up with it. Or why someone thinks up such a thing if it was a deliberate hoax. Otherwise, it was usually the usual rumors. I was married, had a secret child, stuff like that. But nothing could be denied so easily as my demise.**

I just love some of these translations... I wonder what kind of animal HC is?
I guess he must have bought or is looking into buying a place in Florida. Obviously, he doesn’t mind the hurricanes. I do wonder though, if he likes the weather, why not settle around California, where he can also network for roles. Is he just going to depend on his manager for everything? (I guess, if he is paying a lot of money to her, why not let her do all that work?)

I think that as well, because his excuse of always working the summers and missing out on it is a joke.

It is a joke particularly when he has long periods of inactivity between movies. He can pursue summer around the world while not working. As I recall, he went with Ben to Fiji when it was winter in other parts of the world.

I left that on the plate for you, because there was plenty of contradiction to go around for all.

Hurricanes aren't a real threat if your house is inland.
CA is high as hell. Still, he could buy a small place (just like the home he rents in FL) in Studio City and be good.
Yes! I think HC is handing his whole check over to Dany, because it isn't something he likes to deal with on the regular.

I agree he does. But Henry seems to not want fans to know personal stuff about him. Hence him re hashing the same stories everytime
