If DC goes for a different direction for these movies (ie different to how Zack Snyder envisioned them), then they might have a chance. They did well for Wonder Woman, so maybe going for another female-led director for Batgirl may help, for example. DC makes great straight-to-video animated films, hopefully they’ll do great live action ones (as they did around the time of Christopher Nolan).

I agree, but they tried it with Whedon. The Shazam movies looks okay. It appears to have borrowed from Deadpool a lot, but it seems a bit corny and with a familiar storyline.

Comic Con 2018 revealed no news on MOS2, so the rumor mill was wrong.

The bigger news DC shared was the new streaming DC service they were launching and that angsty Teen Titans TV series they’re releasing in the series.

Fishing to see if HC is in Shazam.

It would be interesting if he was there. There had been rumours for a while that he would. In the animated series, Superman had met Shazam, and Shazam (as a boy) looked up to him.

I wonder why would they keep this a secret. I'm going out on a limb her and guessing that HC isn't doing a cameo, even though he did tweet the actor playing Shazam.

All indicators (for now) are showing that MI6 is going to be a big hit. I wonder would this increase the chances of MOS2 being made or not? Most argue these days that stars don’t have that drawing power anymore (except maybe for Tom Cruise, The Rock or Denzel Washington), and it’s now about he ‘concept’ of the movie (particularly true for comic book hero movies). But I just wondered whether some of the success of MI6 will rub off on HC enough for WB to green light a sequel (as long as Zack Snyder is not part of it?)

The operative word is 'MI6' is going to be a hit. Everyone is talking about Tom's stunts and how amazing Tom is so don't get it twisted.

There had been actors in supporting roles that have caught the eye of other movie producers or directors, particularly if the show is a hit. James Gunn, for example, liked Chris Pratt’s acting/character in Parks and Recreation, and he was just a supporting cast member there.
MAny years ago, Bronson Pinchot in a silly cameo in Beverly Hills Cop (?) also caught the eye of some people, so that helped his career.
Chris Evans was only a supporting role in the Fantastic 4, but Kevin Feige like him enough to cast him as Captain America.
So maybe there’s a chance for HC... One hopes...

Yeah, but you are talking about WB greenlighting a MOS sequel. WB already suffered another loss at the box office with Teen Titans falling below expectation. Fortunately for WB, Titan's budget was only $10 million, but I think it was expecting a windfall.

Updates on what's next for you please Henry... you know, the important stuff.
Do we even know what's next on the agenda now MI6 has been released? Like where's that Nomis thing he made. These are the things we should be updated on and enough with the bjj & running posts day in day out - we get it, you work out. Gold star for you!

There's nothing on the horizon. That's why all of this other talk about Supes, BJJ, mustache, and etc. HC did say he was focusing on producing films, when he was asked what's next.
In reality, he should have something already in the works, so when he gets asks what's next he should have a solid answer. However, it seems as if he's fighting hard for a MOS sequel.
That's fine and all, but that's like putting all of your eggs in one basket. It's great if it happens and sucks if it doesn't.
You can tell his career path played heavily on his mind. This is what he brings up in this link.

Is Teen Titans already out? Cool. I’ll watch it with my kids, they love that show.
HC said in an interview that he was making sure he was still in Superman shape. So maybe he knows something we don’t.
But of course, it’s also possible he doesn’t know what the studio has in store. AT&T is already making all sorts of decisions regarding HBO so I can just imagine what they plan for WB.

Girl, you and your kids are the reason it is underperforming. Yep, I said it!
Also, he said MOS2 will appear in theaters anytime from 2019 and 2045. Basically, he admitted he had no clue.
Yeah, he pretty much said that nothing surprises him in Hollywood, and that he is learning to be patient. He needs to learn to be proactive and make stuff happening. What are Charlie and Ben doing for their company, which is now not only for film, TV, but events?
