Is Teen Titans already out? Cool. I’ll watch it with my kids, they love that show.

Girl, you and your kids are the reason it is underperforming. Yep, I said it! grin

The movie’s target audience are kids, and based on industry reports it’s not doing that bad. https://www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-report/teen-titans-go-to-the-movies-launches-with-in-fifth-place-with-10-5-million-162388.html

The movies hasn’t even reached other parts of the world, that includes my corner of the world.

Based on what I’m reading about this film, it seems to be more of a giant ad for other related Teen Titans products and merchandise, and it seems to be serving its purpose.

But of course, it’s also possible he doesn’t know what the studio has in store. AT&T is already making all sorts of decisions regarding HBO so I can just imagine what they plan for WB. I’m surprised though it went to the big screen. DC has kept most of its DC animated titles as straight to video and they’re quite good, much better than the movies on the big screen.

Yeah, he pretty much said that nothing surprises him in Hollywood, and that he is learning to be patient. He needs to learn to be proactive and make stuff happening. What are Charlie and Ben doing for their company, which is now not only for film, TV, but events?

HC’s only pro-active when it comes to keeping himself look like Superman — nothing new there. That’s been going on since the day he got the part of Kal-El. His activities are as repetitive and stale as most of the interviews he participates in, except now he advertises those activities in social media. But never mind — he still makes great eye candy. One can hope he can get himself a cool gig in Hulu, Amazon, HBO or Netflix that could add a new spark to his CV.

Toni, are you having a senior moment? Have you forgotten when he left MB -- I mean -- Utah?

Otherwise, I would agree

I agree.

I could have placed this in the DC shakeup thread, but anyway this is an article on the new Supergirl movie in preproduction. It talks about a possible Supes recast.

HC putting feelers out there for Geralt in Witcher.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/08/06/henry-cavill-wants-to-play-geralt-in-netflixs-adaptation-of-the-witcher

He would be perfect for Geralt. The series would do really well with him in it.

It's still a bit a ways off w/a 2020 release date. I hope if HC and team do approach the producers they don't come w/crazy demands.

HC even posted fan art of him as Geralt. Thirsty much? You better knock on Dany's door for a drink.

It would be nice if he gets this role. Just something ‘different’, or simply a new role.

The only thing is, if these are the types of roles he likes, he is in a way competing with The Rock for the same type of roles. When I saw the pic of the character he wants to portray, I could also see The Rock in the role, because The Rock did play Hercules in a movie. Because of their similar physique, they can almost go for the similar roles, so one would wonder who Dany Garcia would push for such roles. (Of course, timing and money is everything, so if the Rock is unavailable or has a better offer elsewhere maybe she’ll send HC?)

We finally have a release date for MOS2!

Girl, April Fools Day was months ago! But I was such a fool enough to hope it was real.

Well, HC did say MOS2 will appear on the big screen anytime from 2019 to 2045. grinning

Actually looks interesting and intriguing. Lots of good character actors there like Stan Tucci, Ben Kingsley and others I’ve seen guest starring in some TV shows and cast in indie films. HC’s hair, beard and bulky frame makes him look like a brother of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington’s character in Game of Thrones). He looks really bulky, and kind of like a yeti/Sasquatch with all the hair. bear
