Is she slowly fading away? Should she just go back to country? They seem to have a more faithful fan base, while pop fans are notoriously fickle.

He is really making it seem like Gaga did EVERYTHING and they were just there watching eating popcorn.

Gaga's streaming numbers and sales prove she's one of the biggest things in music in 2019. Leave that retirement home, grandpa.
No, moron. We're comparing Taylor's status in Europe and she has yet to gross as much as Gaga did. She couldn't even sell more tickets than Gaga outside of the UK when Gaga was in the Joanne era
STOP IT. You cannot prove Taylor is anywhere near as big as Gaga's WW peak ever.

Your own words: They may have contributed to the writing in some other ways as songwriting is both composing music and writing words.

So they all wrote the song together but you said.
If she wrote it all on her own then why the hell did 4 people win an oscar for writing the song.
Lady Gaga and Benjamin Rice btw produced it, so I don't know what other producerS you're referring to.
You sometimes do not make sense

The lyrics are written by her. The others did help compose it/give it the final structure but the lyrics are hers. What is it YOU don't get?

She's had TWO hits. The sales for the platinum certified, 1 million+ song ARUTW cannot be ignored, especially considering its performance WW.
No, I said Taylor can't sell sh!t in Europe and she can't. Please show me where she outperformed Gaga in Germany, France or Spain
How do you know how her next single is going to do? Debuting at #2 means sh!t if you're overall performance is lackluster. Guurl, you need to quit this
I still can't wrap my head around you thinking she should have movies lined up for 2019-20 when she won't be able to shoot them because of a new album, possible tour and her record-breaking, making-you-seethe Vegas residency?
Like, please tell me how that would work? No? Ok, you lost AGAIN

So she didn't write it by herself. She co-wrote the song. Because you said.
Again what other producers because you were trying to point out that the reason why the others got writing credit is because they produced the song which doesn't make sense since they are NOT CREDITED AS PRODUCERS and Shallow is not a beat driven song but a song with traditional composition which means that no producer would be given a credit as a songwriter when he had nothing to do with the song's composition.
If you think songwriting is just lyrical content then I guess Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan had us fooled when they called themselves songwriters. I wonder who composed the music? Hmmmm.

Songwriting is a complex credit. However, Gaga WROTE the lyrics and the melody. The composition of a song is a different deal. You still 'compose' a track by writing the music for it, choosing to put the first two verses before the first chorus instead of the typical verse-chorus-verse-chorus formula. So Gaga writes the song all by herself with the melody on her piano, but the other writers add their own twist to the song in its composition therefore receiving a 'writing' credit.
Bottom line, Gaga can write/compose a song all by herself as proven in songs like Speechless or You and I.

She's not credited of being the sole writer of the song as she may have done the melody and the lyrics by herself a songwriting is a musical composition, lyrics and melody. We are not in the classical period of mozart. For most famous pop music, a song that is written by someone, the people that are credited are the ones who do the music and lyrics but you don't seem to get it so you obviously try to spin it around by saying someone writes an entire song by themselves by writing the melody and the lyrics. You're telling me that when Gaga performed the song on the piano, that the music she was performing was not part of the songwriting? uh okay.

You have been very vocal about Beyoncé not writing her own music, yet here you are saying otherwise. I never got why Beyoncé can't be credited to writing a song when she's changing a word or two (something YOU have been very vocal about her not deserving a songwriting credit for that), but here you are voicing your opinion on Gaga's matter, saying that what Beyoncé does is okay here because it's done by others and towards Gaga. LOL. I always knew you were a hypocrite but not to this extent.
Just like you sided with Ne-Yo about him writing the song (lyrics and melody) and Beyoncé being undeserving of said songwriting, I'm telling you Gaga (Ne-Yo) wrote this song, while the others (Beyoncé) did some small parts to deserve a songwriting credit but they did NOT write the song per say. Try being less of a fool next time and more of a logical thinker.

I have never been THAT vocal about her not writing her own music. I have though been critical of her getting credit for things she didn't write.
But Gaga wrote the lyrics but didn't compose the music all by herself. She, therefore, did not write the song all by herself. Did I credit the other composers of writing Shallow and Gaga having no creative input in it? No, I didn't. Did I question Gaga's creative input? No, but you claimed she wrote a song all by herself even though there were 3 other people credited and won an award for it.
I don't think I never had an opinion of Ne-Yo and Beyoncé and Irreplaceable but he wrote the song with 4 other people and was going to use it himself until it was suggested he gave it to Beyoncé and Beyoncé had a writing credit on a song that was written by someone else for someone else. At least that is what I read but if she had the contribution of composing the melodies than of course, she deserves a co-writing credit.
This is not comparable as Gaga herself has never summarized exactly what she or other contribution of Shallow was aside of Ronson claiming she wrote the lyrics by herself. Mark Ronson's contribution may be questionable as I read that she and the two other songwriters had most creative input in that song.
But honestly you're really scraping the barrel here and why not just admit that you were wrong as you claimed Gaga wrote the song herself, which I even doubt Gaga herself would admit, after all there 3 other people that won an Oscar for it as well.

I said that the lyrics and melody was written by her. The others contributed but the words are Gaga's. This whole discussion started when that moron claimed she didn't write anything but she has proven with songs like You and I or Speechless that she can write something all by herself.
