We have been a community for years, it doesn’t have to end because the show ended. Our board still exists on “filmboards.com “ and all our old posts from imbd are still there. Most of the imbd boards are there as well.
Filmboards is run by a guy named Nimda and he’s happy for new members. Join us over there if you like. The Game of Thrones finale is coming and I’d love to discuss that too!

I will be there. Even though I have to confess that I am barely through the whole of GoT.

Someone has our old posts from IMDB?

When IMDB went away their whole archive was copied and placed on another site for safekeeping.

Except, I suppose, for the posts so old that they weren't even on imdb any more.

As with all the posts and threads that were deleted by IMDB.

Knowing me, I'll pop in from time to time as long as I see others are still around. I take breaks- such things become necessary for the prolific poster- but I always come back.
Hello, my name is Lemons, and I am a TBBT message-board-aholic.
Anyway, wherever our community posts, I'll be around on and off no doubt. You guys have become a part of me.

OK...that was weird. Just saw a post I started over two years ago - - asking where Kerry had gone.

I looked back through some of those IMDb threads at filmboards. It's amazing how busy that board was! Lots of happy memories there. 💜 One thing I noticed is that some of the very, very last threads are not there. The board shut down around February 17th or 19th, maybe? Or 21st? And I think the last post on filmboards is around February 14th. Not that that matters- it's still really cool that so much of them were preserved- but there do appear to be a few final ones missing. It was fun to look back through some of them, though!

On the old IMDB board the finale would have caused comments galore.

Indeed it would have! Reddit has gone wild but I just don't really think that's where I want to be. I don't recognize any of the usernames. I was kind of hoping to see more comments here but maybe there will be more in the days to come. Posts around here seem akin to tumbleweeds tumblin' down a hot, dusty desert road. Does that make us cowboys?

Maybe not cowboys but with some make-up and a camera we could look good in the desert

I bet you'd look rather znexyish with some fringed chaps and shiny spurs.
I could be a saloon girl and we could even have a player-piano.
I think one of the beauties of our friendship has always been that by the time I finish a conversation with you I have no idea what we were originally talking about.

Murph can be the old timey bar tender, Erika could be the gal who runs the town with a smile on her lips and a six shooter on her hips. Knixon could be the mysterious stranger who rides into town via that new fangled railroad contraption. The rest of the crew here? Suggestions ?

Well we definitely need more cowboys, and maybe someone to run the Grain and Feed. And someone to run the Old Mill, and to be the town banker and to be the town doctor who gets paid with chickens. I guess we should just let people speak up and take the jobs they want.
Also, does that make Knixon Train Guy?
