Last night, Amy asked Bernie the following question:
"Has he (Howard) ever called you to tell you he found three peanuts in one shell, 'cause Sheldon has?"
If you can identify why this was ludicrous, you will get a prize. Or at least a hearty thanks.
Bonus question #1: Would you drink Romulan Ale?
Me: No. I am not a fan of anything edible/drinkable that is bright blue. Not ale, not sour patch kids, not the berries of crunch berries, not anything. But I do like blue tongues.
Bonus question #2: What is your favorite cocktail?
Mine: Amaretto sour

I'm stumped!
I would not drink Romulan Ale because I would not drink straight vodka. My favorite cocktail is a gin cooler - been a fan since I was first legal, but haven't had one in years since I usually stick to wine or beer. But I have a bottle of Hendrick's, some sparkling water and superfine sugar ready to go - just need to get some limes and I will be all set to make myself a first-rate cooler.
Edit: my neighbor made me a delicious Amaretto Sour once, without telling me that he used egg whites for the froth. It was yummy, but I do not do raw eggs, or raw anything, really. Luckily it was fine, but I was a bit worried, lol.

I'll keep mum on the Amy/Bernie answer for now.
I looked up a gin cooler and it looked good- light and refreshing! I've never had one. It reminded me (in appearance) of a drink I saw on a menu the other night but did not end up trying- a mohito. Have you ever had one? I wonder if they're good.
As for the Amaretto Sours I've had, I don't remember any froth or egg whites- yikes! I hope not! I don't eat raw eggs either! I'll have to give the bartender a thorough questioning before my next one!

Howard is allergic to nuts.

Correct! Peanuts to be exact. Are you allergic to answering my bonus questions?

Peanuts to be exact just regarding that gaffe. But he's allergic to more than just peanuts. Mortadella, for example, which was in the sandwich he reacted to, contains pistachios. And he's mentioned reacting to walnuts in the past as well.
And the bonuses weren't 'quiz' questions with a definitely correct answer. But skipping over that, REAL Romulan Ale is obviously (based on the Trek shows and movies etc) much stronger - and more aromatic (which good vodka basically has none) - than just vodka with coloring. And is apaprently consumed "straight" not mixed. I only occasionally enjoy mixed drinks, nothing straight. So, no on #1. And what I usually get is a strawberry chi-chi. Which, although I've heard other stories occasionally, as far as I know is always basically just a strawberry daiquiri - made with strawberry daiquiri mix if that's what you have - with vodka rather than rum. I don't like rum because it has its own flavor. I only enjoy vodka (occasionally, in mixed drinks) because good vodka has little or no flavor of its own.
Meanwhile, what if Howard dealt with peanuts the way Leonard talked about cheesecake in the very first episode? "I don't eat them, I just think they're a good idea!" Then he could phone Bernadette with his discoveries!
But some people who are allergic to nuts can't even touch them or smell them.

And when did Mrs/Ms Davis move from HR to being the dean? Maybe I missed that.

You and Sheldon would have either been best friends or you would have killed each other.

Howard had only one peanut, as the shell and the three edible inner nuts are all part of one whole peanut. There !

That's an interesting point. But the outer shell can be referred to as the "pod" and the inner parts are the "nuts" or even the "seeds" (i.e., individual seeds of the peanut plant, contained within a pod). Or the outer part is the "shell" since "shelled peanuts" are just the inside part. They wouldn't be called "peanuts" still if everything including the outer shell was required to make up the full "peanut." (Nor is the whole thing including the outer shell/pod pressed to get "peanut oil.")

Not to worry, you only need 60% to pass.

Peanuts are a legume not a nut.
If you live on the West Coast eggs are safe to eat raw if you prefer them that way, just make sure that they aren't cracked otherwise bacteria might work its way in.
I might sample a small glass. Here is a link to a site that has the 'Official' recipe for Romulan Ale:

As for fav cocktail, I generally drink red wine but I occasionally drink 'Snake Bites' which are Yukon Jack & lime juice or homemade Vodka slushies in the summer.

Silly willy. All those words made my brain hurt. It's cause he's allergic to peanuts! He wouldn't be messin' in a peanut bucket- his face would 'splode!
And your cocktail (which I Googled since you teased me with a story which you did not tell) looks quite tasty.

We know that the writers know; but do we know that Amy knows?
Bonus question #1: No (Imbibe no more; but, must admit that at one time it was "everything except iodine and shoe polish".)
Bonus question #2: N/A

That's not a gaffe, she was just giving an example of how ridiculous Sheldon can be.
