Maybe I'm just a sucker for good web design but I primarily chose this place because of the UI. It's pretty dead compared to IMDb but hopefully it will grow with time. But the super experience so far is far superior to IMDb.

I deleted my account after 10 years, it felt very weird. But, they deserve see what will happen to their website by deleting the boards.

I get the refugee feeling. It's been odd. Kinda like an ocean liner going down and everyone's scattered onto different life boats.

Another IMDb refugee here. I think that was pretty crappy of them to shut down their message boards rather than make an honest effort to fix them; I haven't given up on them yet, though; I'm holding out hope that they'll realize that this is the biggest mistake in the site's history and restore the boards someday. Until then, though, it's good to see some familiar faces here..

They've lost me now, no matter what they do. They could bring them back tomorrow, I won't be signing up again.

I think the only way they bring them back is in some sort of format where you have to confirm your ID via the credit card, and then they can target you for advertising. No thanks. Everything to Amazon is about sales.
