What a pathetic statement to make. Are you a idiot who's been brainwashed by Hollywood to think women must be 100lbs or less to be attractive? You must have a lack of respect for most women you come across.
I find her character's personality extremely unlikable regardless of her appearance. But it does boggle the mind that she's always on the move, sweaty and tired but never looses weight. All the overweight characters are odd considering all the physical activities their world demands of them. Cardio alone should have produced some hard bodies by this time. But they can't exploit physical aspects when social correctness appeals to the target demographic. Unless Tara is sucking down fries dipped in mayo I just don't see how she's keeping the chunk.
I guess this all goes into magical category along with the everlasting gasoline that never degrades, batteries that never need charging, and never altering grooming of the characters. It seems the only thing they're worried about running out of is ammo.
I like her. She is the only character to just say things as they are - right away - no games - no silent starring and saying nothing. Just speaks her mind with a still healthy "old world" understanding of things.
Very refreshing!

I didn't realise this show was a documentary. Why are we not talking about that most of the cast is on a regular botox program. No. Let's just fat shame this one actor.

And the magical category where can foods never expire. Lol
She is annoying. And they have her tagging along often like she is some kind of asset. Whatever. Tara's behavior dispels my immersion every time she is on screen. Reminds me that I am watching a TV show. She acts like she is in a comedy instead of a thriller/drama. Comedy in such a genre is OK in little bits but the character itself is vivid tongue in cheek (so to speak). She feels like she is on the verge of breaking the fourth wall any second.
As far as appearance goes, I like the realism of the mix they have of attractive/unattractive but I have to agree that the scarcity of supplies and the survival by one's sweat make overweight people highly unlikely in this new world unless they are in charge. Negan or the Governor could have been fat.
Those ladies should have killed her. They were right. They could have gone on and survived on their own. Tara broke her promise and now they are defenseless.

Yeah I'm holding Tara responsible for Oceanside's demise. Those women have no way of protecting themselves from the walkers that wash up to shore. Tara and Rick are dicks.

Fat shame? Get your emotions under control. Maybe that's your issue. I don't get a hoot about the actress. She's doing her job quite well from what I see. I'm shaming the writers & directors (specifically the casting director). Don't change my argument to your personal agenda/issue. Extremely rude.
And of course it's not a documentary but one of the original appeal to the shows was its vision of what zombie apocalypse would actually look like. The level of detail they put into the characters and zombies was amazing. Now it overshadowed by the obvious fail at representing predicting common sense things; like the everlasting gasoline. It even makes me go back an question the first few seasons. This thing was set in Atlanta and most of the cast is white male however the majority of Atlanta is black female. I'm not expecting a documentary because it's a fiction but at least try to make it feel real.
I'm being rude??? "Unless Tara is sucking down fries dipped in mayo I just don't see how she's keeping the chunk." Mmkay!
You really have reality issue kid. I'm referring to the character, not the actress. I guess you're what they call a snowflake...getting all heated over a fictional character. Once again, I'm insulting the writers and directors of the show. Not the actress. Well you too now since I'm calling you a snowflake. Pick better causes to fight dude. You sound like a real idiot.

Attacking me because you have no real discourse? High five.
and you're pathetic. Is this site really going to become like IMDB and not monitor this kind of crap?

What are you? 5?
Actually I'm 7. Im old enough to realize this board is here to talk about the walking dead show. When I make a comment directly related to the show and am personally attacked for my opinion (about the show bearing the name of this board), then yes, said attack is off topic, rude and reportable. So go stick it in your ear!
