Discussão The Walking Dead

What, do they actually think if they knock off Negan that the problem is over? Do they not realize the world of sh!t that will rain down on the communities due to their actions? It's like the gang's mantra says, "I am Negan" (total rip-off from Spartacus BTW to all the kiddies out there). This show is about over. It's a shame they let this awful writing destroy this show.

@D.J. That has been bugging me about Rosita as well. She is going to die and probably get others killed over a guy who basically threw her away like an old toy? Bad writing indeed.

I don't think she's doing this for Abraham. She's just become one of those characters who's rage driven, always angry, incredibly impatient. She's cold to anyone she considers weak (like Tara). I think Abraham walking out on her was a trigger event but that was probably just the last straw, not the whole story. We don't know what happened to Rosita before that. What she experienced, what happened to her family, etc. Everyone has their enough! point. Every character on the show has been through the loss of pretty much everyone and everything they cared about. They all handle it in different ways. I wish they'd explain a little more about Rosita's past (without devoting an entire episode to it) so her actions would make more sense to us.

The Saviors will not be crying over losing Negan. I also doubt they'll go looking for whoever does it.

LOL, they won't do it for the sake of Negan. Don't you understand how scumbags work? They used it for an excuse to create chaos. Scumbags love a reason to rape and pillage.

I would be off the rails too if I saw someone I loved brutally killed in the manner that Abraham was killed. Rosita is traumatized and grieving at the same time. She's highly emotional and we all know that emotions interferes with rational thinking. Rosita is irrational in her hate filled quest to kill Negan...period.

We don't know anything about the relationship between Negan and Simon. They were probably there together from the beginning. Negan trusts him enough that he never looks over his shoulder or supervises anything he does, unlike Dwight (who I think he suspects will betray him sooner or later). How Simon would react to Negan's death is anyone's guess. Some of the Saviors are former criminals and genuine sociopaths. They like things just the way they are. Quite a few of them though, would probably welcome an end to the unnecessary brutality and volatility of life under Negan. And all that kneeling before him like he's God. I'm sure a lot of people at the Sanctuary wouldn't mind ditching that bullshit and living like normal human beings again.

Unless Simon is like his brother, I don't see him giving a sh*it either. Negan destroyed Dwight, so yeah...he would watch him like a hawk. Furthermore, Negan berates Dwight at every opportunity. So it would be safe to assume that Negan would not trust him.

As I said before, I don't think that anyone would miss or feel any remorse over Negan's demise. In fact, I'm sure most of his soldiers and the people under his reign fantasize about when, where and how. I certainly would.

Who was Simon's brother?

No, I'm sure most of Negan's people wouldn't shed any tears. But some of them only want to take his place and keep running things more or less the way they currently are. Maybe get rid of some of the more theatrical stuff like the hot iron and just shoot troublemakers instead. Others would immediately throw out Negan's playbook and run the Sanctuary more like other communities, even try to make things right with those communities and establish new relationships based on trade instead of forced tribute. Whether or not the right person took over would make all the difference in the world.

I don't know who was Simon's brother or if he even had one. I was simply responding to the relationship theory you commented on between Simon and Negan.

In this impending war, I would imagine that those fighting on the side of the Saviors are all soldiers. I mean it would be pretty stupid to arm the people (workers) under his reign who are all working under duress to fight a war. With that said, every armed soldier that is killed would be one less person to worry about rising up and trying to take Negan's place using the same method and ideology as Negan.

I don't see any of the soldiers that manages to live wanting to be that person who rules the way that Negan rules. In the event that it happens...they will be dealt with swiftly and without mercy. That's what I would do.

In fact, unless I find a soldier with some sort of exceptional skill or knowledge...I would execute them immediately if they did somehow survive the war. But I doubt there are any soldiers like that...otherwise, they wouldn't be soldiers and Negan would be already using them in the capacity needed. So I take back what I just said. I would kill them all without mercy!!!

Actually, I would talk to the liberated workers on the floor. The point system people. They'll know exactly who the cruel and sadistic enforcers are, and which of the Saviors showed them kindness or even slipped them extra rations on occasion. The good ones could be real assets to you. The bad ones, yeah - get rid of them. Unlike Negan you don't need a bunch of psychopaths on your team.

And I would choose you as my second in command. Because that is the type of thinking that would be useful.

Why thank you. Am I blushing?

I wouldn't doubt it. Being paid a compliment on any message board is so rare, I'm almost tempted to record the date and time in case it never happens again.

Feel free to record it, if you so wish. However, I assure you that it probably won't be the last time you receive a compliment from "me"...if I find it necessary.

By the way, it's not the first one and/or time I've given you. No worries though...I'm not counting. 🕐 🕑 🕒
