Discuss The Walking Dead

What, do they actually think if they knock off Negan that the problem is over? Do they not realize the world of sh!t that will rain down on the communities due to their actions? It's like the gang's mantra says, "I am Negan" (total rip-off from Spartacus BTW to all the kiddies out there). This show is about over. It's a shame they let this awful writing destroy this show.

@movie_nazi Good God man, you have to watch Breaking Bad. It reached a high point in season 4 (Face Off) and then rapped things up the next (and last) season. I was sad to see it end, but it ended at the right time and in the right way. It was never a big commercial hit, so maybe as you mention, commercial pressures which seem to have affected WD were not an issue for BB.

Sons of Anarchy did the same as TWD with respect to having a one hour after show.

I don't have a problem with the Talking Dead. It's just a forum for fans to discuss the show and learn about some of the special effects and things that go on behind the scenes, etc.

It's really no different than say a message board like TMDb...fans discussing the show about the good, the bad or the ugly.

One thing for sure. People get really fu*cking passionate about a TV show.

@Nubyan I watch Talking Dead. For now. I was referencing movienazi's comments regarding commercial sponsors and needing to stretch out the show for commercial endorsements.

@jonnieblack:

Yes, I'm aware that you were referring to movie_nazi. I quoted your comment as it was the last one on the thread about commercial pressures.

The fact is, all networks along with television and movie productions rely on advertisement and endorsement of products. The HBO'S and Showtime's of the industry just goes about product endorsement and ads in a entirely different way. Without them...they would find it very difficult and costly to pay for airtime.

Lastly, ads don't stretch out a show, they shorten it. If it weren't for the ads, a 60 minute show would truly be 60 minutes. In any case, I get what you're saying about that.

What they did was reckless and stupid. It puts the entire community in jeopardy. After Eugene refused to leave with them, they should have thrown in the towel.

I completely agree with you Angelcake. Their actions are pretty damn selfish. They are acting purely on emotions. When people do that, they're bound to be irrational and fu*ck things up...every single time. What they need is discipline along with a well thought out plan. Not some emotionally charged and baggage bullshit.

I agree with the OP...they are morons.
