What, do they actually think if they knock off Negan that the problem is over? Do they not realize the world of sh!t that will rain down on the communities due to their actions? It's like the gang's mantra says, "I am Negan" (total rip-off from Spartacus BTW to all the kiddies out there). This show is about over. It's a shame they let this awful writing destroy this show.

Just being a smartass. Don't mind me. You know what I mean though: 95% of the time the first person who posts after you is going to disagree with whatever you just said. It's always a little unexpected when they don't - and a refreshing change of pace too, feel free to agree with me anytime!

Duly noted. I don't mind a smartass when it's in good fun. I can be a real smartass myself when warranted. And not just in fun. Sometimes, people can really drive me to go there.
In any case, it's always a pleasure shooting it back and forth with you chrisjdel. In some cases, I just hang back and observe.
I'll check you later. ✌ 👊

it felt like the set of Star Trek was on the other side of that door she bursted into.

@movie_nazi Thanks for the clarification. I hate to be wrong on facts. Opinion, that is another matter

Yeah, no problem. It can get so confusing. But the show is almost unrecognizable now next to the comics which always kept you at the edge of your seat.

@movie_nazi I have not read as far into the comics as the show is now. Last one I read was the one where Hilltop was introduced. At least on the show, things have gone downhill since then. Drama wise, I mean.

To give you an idea of just how bad they are dragging ass this season, this entire season would probably fit in a single issue. Since there are elements in the show that are not in the comics I would up it to 3 issues. In all reality, the pace should be an issue per episode.

You all need to get over the comics storyline. This ain't the comics...move on.

You are missing the point. I don't really care if they follow the comic book storyline. But when a comic book that has a MONTHLY release has a quicker story pace that a weekly TV show, there are some serious pacing issues going on.

@movie_nazi:
I here what you're saying. But you can't compare apples to oranges.
It's far easier to bang out print than it is a television production. There's no freaking comparison. It's two different worlds.
Cut the show some slack.

Once again, you miss the point but I will gladly spell it out for you. A TV show is much faster paced than a comic book. Generally, you have to wait a few issues before things really start to cook in a comic book story. A TV show is supposed to cover ground much faster, therefore providing plot progression and deeper audience engrossment. When a comic book out paces a TV show, there are serious issues in the TV shows pacing. But don't take my word for it, look around you. Look at the ratings slide. Look at the discussion boards. EVERYONE is bored with the show. The show has taken quite a down turn the last two seasons. But hey, but if you are thoroughly entertained with waiting 6 episodes for something significant to happen then good for you. I wish I was as easily appeased as you are, I really do.

Last nights episode was anther snooze, IMO. The only significant events were the Eugene snub of Sashita, and the Daryl/Maggie conversation. As for the drawn out Sashita storyline, I don't care enough about either character to be interested, considering the amount of time devoted.

Well I liked the rivalry between Rosita and Sasha in this episode. I went from hating Rosita to loving her unflinching determination and toughness.
I enjoyed Rosita's talk with Sasha about how she's had to survive before the apocalypse and after meeting Abraham. I respect Rosita a lot more now after hearing her tell her story. She's not just a bitch. She's a bitch with a heart of gold. She was made that way. She's surviving the only way someone like her could.

Yeah, you're right I'm good. What can I say? I'm not at all bothered by the pace.
