It is not going to be like a HIve Mind situation where you kill Negan and then everyone serving him just stops.

I too never read one of the comics! Great stuff! No way are we gonna see this in the current season. Unless the series does a total rewrite. Which they have done before. If not, we are looking at season eight for the heavy lifting.

It's what happens when the suits get involved and say, "Can you slow it down some so we can cram more commercials into it? We got Apple, Audi, Microsoft, yada, yada, yada, knocking our doors down for a spot on the show." smh. Downright travesty if you ask me.

Sasha is more of a moron because there is a strong possibility that she fails the attempt at assassinating Negan and if that happens, it will bring more trouble to Alexandria because he knows that Rick probably doesn't have as much control over his people like he's supposed to.

I agree, OP. Not only is their action going to bring dire consequences on the people they love if they fail, but it also has a high chance of ruining their entire plan for an organized attack.

Lori was irritating and the main source material had her irritating as well. But I think what you pointed out about it ruining Rick's surprise chances is the main reason it pisses me off. It would have been so much better to coordinate with Rick and have them attempt the snipe in tandem with a full-fledged attack afterwards while they were in disarray. This is exactly the reason you have grunts and you have officers. If grunts did what they wanted they would always ruin the war plan.

She's landed a lead role in the new Star Trek series. It's hard to juggle being a regular on two different shows at the same time, unless the shooting schedules happen to line up perfectly for you. All the more frustrating if you remember back in the beginning of cable networks they were all supposed to be commercial free and unedited content! That was the point of Pay TV. Then greed set in.

Hey, we still got it man. That's why IMO the best shows are on pay channels. HBO has just been dominating the last 15 years and maybe the last 5 years these other channels have been playing catch up and admittedly when they stuck to the formula they have produced some really good TV. Breaking Bad (which I never saw BTW) is a great example. It had a story and had it laid out and told the story in less that 6 seasons I believe. Now look, it is now arguably one of the greatest TV shows of all time. TWD just oozes greed. As soon as I saw they created that asinine show Talking Dead the writing was on the wall for me. I knew that these cats were going for the gusto as far as advert revenue. Seriously folks, TWD ain't a GD David Lynch film. We don't need to discuss how and what happened. Or Game of Thrones where you have like 6 different storylines going on at once. It just screams commercial scam.

@movie_nazi Good God man, you have to watch Breaking Bad. It reached a high point in season 4 (Face Off) and then rapped things up the next (and last) season. I was sad to see it end, but it ended at the right time and in the right way. It was never a big commercial hit, so maybe as you mention, commercial pressures which seem to have affected WD were not an issue for BB.
