I hope so as well, but I think we are not going to get a happy ending to GOT.

Well, George R.R. Martin has said the story will have a bittersweet ending. I'm just hoping the end is not too unbearably sad, but this is Game of Thrones after all, and it probably will be.

As long as it's satisfying, that's all I care about. But yeah...doubtful it'll be a happy ending.

It better be satisfying. I have been waiting to see how this epic story ends since 1997 when I first read AGOT. I'm sure there will be some happy parts in the end, but I definitely know the Others (white walkers) are gonna wipe out a lot of people.

You don't need a Twitter account to visualise a tweet. But I understand your not wanting to be spoiled, which is why I post a link and not just plain text in view of everyone here, especially since there doesn't seem to be a spoiler tag feature.
