I think pleasure is part of the wellness. Wellness is a wholesome word. All-encompassing? Pleasure is just pleasure. It’s tacky and sinful? So a woman should keep it swish and emphasize the wellness. rolling_eyes

I was shocked. You’re a bra-burner. I forgot about sarcasm. laughing

Just playing with yourself for fun isn’t empowering. Not in my book. I can consider playing with yourself empowering if it’s done to know your body. With other words, find the G-spots. Knowing yourself, who you are, what you want, what you like etc. are all part of the empowering package, to me.

So, if you have to play with yourself to find the G-spots, you can’t expect the bf to know where they are. So you can either tell him or let him discover them in a playful manner. During sex, if he can’t reach them, you can add toys if they can reach them. If the bf can reach them but doesn’t care/try to reach them, you should tell him to get off of you and go play with himself. You shouldn’t add toys to do his job. IMO, that’s empowering.

I’m so tired of empowering being used for every damn thing that women do. Why can’t women buy a stupid sex toy just for some extra pleasure or a little kinkiness? Men wack off to porn, buy replica of the vagina of their favorite porn star, go to strip clubs just because they like it. A woman must justify why she wants extra pleasure or kinkiness with BS like it’s empowering or it’s for sexual wellness. lol

You’ll be pleased to know that more women are buying sex toys thanks to the 50SOG books. Since those books are kind of about BDSM and not about empowerment or sexual wellness, you can say they’re buying sex toys for extra pleasure or kinkiness. wink

What HCF wrote sounds about right. I’m more for women being able to buy sex toys, because they’re fun. No need to justify. Non deep meaning. Just fun. Just pleasure. Period! lol

BTW, when you do it just for fun and pleasure, that’s empowering. rofl

Henry Cavill on why he returned as Sherlock in Enola Holmes 2

"It's important to get things right," he tells Total Film while discussing Enola Holmes 2, which features on the cover of the new issue of Total Film magazine(opens in new tab). "It's important to make sure the tone of things is not lost in the potential excitement of franchises and universes."

This time, the central mystery takes in missing government funds, vanished documents, bribery, extortion, and lives lost to heartless greed.

"Sherlock enjoys it enormously, much as it frustrates him and he's scuppered by trying to work out who on Earth it is," chuckles Cavill. "I think part of him enjoys actually being genuinely challenged. It isn't boring. He's on the back foot, and against the ropes."

There's also the question of whether Sherlock could return for another Enola Holmes sequel in the future.

"It's always so difficult to tell where things are going, and what will happen," he says. "I have experience with franchises going places, and going quiet, and other franchises popping up and becoming exciting. It's all about the decision-making up top, and everything else that goes with it. I'm merely the hired work.

"But it would be very exciting to continue playing the character, and to continue working with Millie. But that's in the hands of the gods, as they say. I'll be waiting in the wings for the opportunity."

The News-Herald: ‘Enola Holmes 2’ another charming bit of mystery with more good work from Millie Bobby Brown
Netflix has been smart to stay in the “Enola Holmes” business.

Colider: Enola Holmes 2 is tightly paced, leaving just enough breathing room for the characters to thrive and do what they do best. It is a film with a lot of moving parts, but not so many that the audience will lose track, and in that way, is a film deserving of a rewatch — or several.

RadioTimes: Enola Holmes 2 review: A sharper and more cohesive sequel
Despite some predictable plotting, there are enough well-directed carriage chases, stirring fight scenes and dynamic sleuthing to keep the blood pumping.

ScreenRant: Those who enjoyed Cavill's Sherlock in Enola Holmes will be especially happy to see him more involved in the story of the sequel, but this remains Brown's franchise. She's become a powerhouse and continues to capitalize on her skill and charm to keep this film series engaging, and viewers will be won over by the better constructed mystery and delightful dynamic between the two Holmes siblings.

South China Morning Post: Enola Holmes 2 – Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill return as detective siblings in hugely entertaining sequel
This sequel is full of action, intrigue and romance, and it champions the early women’s rights movement

ScreenRant

Henry Cavill Interview: Enola Holmes 2

Screen Rant: What was it like for you to rejoin this cast and play Sherlock Holmes for a second time?

Henry Cavill: Loads of fun. Absolutely love to have the whole team back together. I missed Sam [Claflin] desperately, but to have the whole team back together was wonderful, and it was just a great opportunity to delve deeper into these characters and to tell fun stories with an incredibly important message interwoven in there.

Screen Rant: How do you think Sherlock changes as an individual and as a brother to Enola from the first movie to the sequel?

Henry Cavill: Interestingly, there's a role reversal that goes on between the two. In the first movie, we have Enola, who's been fairly cloistered albeit by her mother and who's an extraordinary and exceptional character and individual, but she's not world wise. Sherlock comes in, and he ends up being the world wise guy, and he ends up being a catalyst for her growth.

But in the second movie, it's the opposite. She comes in with wisdom, she teaches him, and she becomes a catalyst for his growth. I think that's a really important piece to represent, especially coming from a family of brothers. It's not always the older brother or the older sibling who has the wisdom. The wisdom goes both ways, and I love that about this movie, that Sherlock ends up being the one who is taught so much.

Screen Rant: What can audiences gain from seeing Sherlock Holmes portrayed in this manner, taking a back seat to his younger sister?

Henry Cavill: It's difficult to say what audiences can gain. I think that's entirely relative to who the audience member is. I think what's wonderful is that Sherlock is a color to this universe rather than the center of this universe. The center of this universe is Enola, and that provides a different outlook and a different perspective — which is very much what these movies are about, of the Victorian world. It shows us a different way, and I think for young women around the world, there's some really important messaging in there.

Screen Rant: Outside of Sherlock Holmes, you’ve played another iconic character in the form of Superman. Now that you’re officially returning to that role, what are your hopes for where you can take Superman’s story in the DCU?

Henry Cavill: There is so much in the way of conversations to be had. Obviously, I have a very close connection to the character. And there is something extraordinarily special about him; extraordinarily special about his capacity to give and to love. I don't mean romantically; I mean his love for Earth and for the people who live here, and to make people feel powerful—to make people feel like Superman themselves.

I have plenty of desires for this, of course, which will be discussed more in time. But the most important thing, which I will be aiming for, is for the audience to leave the cinema and to feel like they can fly, to feel like they can protect, and to feel like they want to give to everyone else. That would be my goal.

Millie Bobby Brown Details Close Relationship With ‘Enola Holmes’ Co-Star Henry Cavill, Shares How She Likes To ‘Make Him Really Uncomfortable’

Millie Bobby Brown is elaborating on her real-life sibling chemistry with her “Enola Holmes” co-star Henry Cavill.

The actress tells ET Canada’s Morgan Hoffman what makes teasing Cavill on set “so fun.”

“He’s an introvert and I’m not,” the actress said, adding that she likes to tease him with her “very loud” personality.

“I just make him really uncomfortable which is what I’m good at,” she added.

Brown explained that her teasing Cavill simply involves singing and talking to him about reality dating shows, something that “he’s just not interested” in.

“That’s like stage one [of teasing] for me,” she joked. “We haven’t even gotten to stage 10.”

Meanwhile, Cavill, who plays Millie’s older brother in the films, described the actress’ personality as “bombastic” while detailing his “good relationship” with his onscreen sister.

“We annoy each other, we make fun of each other, we tease each other but we support each other as well,” he shared, adding that the two “really are like brother and sister,” just like their characters.

'Enola Holmes 2's Director Explains Sam Claflin's Absence in the Sequel Film

The question was posed to Bradbeer if the lack of Mycroft was a creative decision to focus more on the relationship between Sherlock and Enola or if it was a scheduling conflict with Claflin. He confirmed that it was the latter which then fed into the former, with the decision being made to focus on the two siblings when it became clear that Claflin would be unable to return.

"Well, it was Sam's schedule that became very clear, so Sam was not going to be in it... We were very sorry that Sam couldn't be in this one. If there was a future one we would love to have him back. But that was just the practicalities of life. That then meant though that we had to then concentrate on Sherlock, which has some advantages in the sense and that it becomes a sharp pencil if you like. You're just having to work with that particular relationship. It had to be about Sherlock and Enola and coming together. So I guess there is some blessings in having less pieces because you can do more with what you have."

He also made sure to put out the invite to Claflin to return in future entries in the series if possible, saying that the team "absolutely love him, and we would love to have him again.

Millie Bobby Brown & Harry Bradbeer On Pulling Henry Cavill Out Of His “Comfort Zone” With ‘Enola Holmes 2’

DEADLINE: Occasionally Enola has to lean on her brother Sherlock at times to help her solve a problem. On set, who is the better problem solver? Who’s the least likely to break their lines or get the vibe of a scene right on the first table read?

BRADBEER: I think they all nailed it on the table read. Henry [Cavill] was incredible at the table read.

BROWN: I would say Henry. Henry is a problem solver. He’s a very rational man. Me, I’m a bit manic. I’ll try everything in order to solve something. Whereas he usually just gets it dead on right.

BRADBEER: He does, but also, he’s learning to be fun. In a way, Henry, like Sherlock, has a very rational approach but is learning more and more to have fun and to be spontaneous. And of course, Millie and he had this very interesting, enjoyable dynamic where they’re always poking at each other. And Millie tickles him up a little bit and surprises him. And he goes with it.

BROWN: He does. It’s shocking because he doesn’t have any sisters. So, for him, it must be completely different. I have a sister, a brother, and an older brother. So, I’m very much used to that kind of dynamic. I had to implement a lot of that into my relationship with Henry offscreen and onscreen and just pull him out of his comfort zone.

BRADBEER: Henry and I both don’t have little sisters and would’ve liked to have little sisters, which probably explains our enjoyment to working with people like Millie.

DEADLINE: In building this relationship and dynamic with Henry Cavill vs. your Stranger Things family Noah Schnapp and Charlie Heaton, is there a difference in creating this camaraderie that you noticed while shooting?

BROWN: It’s different because I grew up with Noah and Charlie. I met them when I was 10. So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates. And with Henry, it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one. One that we have terms and conditions. I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me. I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, “Millie, shut up. No.” And I’m like “Understood.” Whereas with the Stranger Things kids, it’s different. There’s no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings. But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.

USA Today

'Enola Holmes 2' star Henry Cavill on drunk Sherlock, Superman return: 'It's time to get this right'

Question: Your Holmes is a more emotionally available detective than some of the more mercurial screen Sherlocks. Is it fun to give this guy a big heart and a big brain?

Henry Cavill: Enola gives that opportunity. In none of the other mediums does Enola exist. It's so wonderful to have that, because she's the one person he can be emotional with. It makes the character just ever so slightly different. His forward facing (appearance) to the rest of the world is still as we've known him. But with Enola there's just that touch of heart to him. And it allows a contrast, because when you see it switch off, it's apparent.

There's a scene hinting at Sherlock’s notorious vices, where Enola catches him mid-stumble leaving a pub. What's your key to acting drunk?

It's one of those things I joke about a lot in sober life, doing the drunk talk, and I've never really done it on screen before. People have found it funny so I thought, I'll give that a shot, see what happens. The slurring of the words is the key. Physically acting drunk can fall into the ridiculous if you're not careful.

When you take on a Sherlock or Superman, do you feel their cultural weight and what's come before, or do you treat them as people you need to get to know?

I like the way you phrased that, as people I need to get to know. That's the way to do it. If you approach it as anything else, then there's a certain grandeur attached, which can affect the performance. If you're going to be as honest and true as possible, then you need to try and look at it through their eyes. Certainly with Superman you feel the effect of the character.

Dwayne Johnson told us about the fight it took to get you back in the Man of Steel's cape. Did you miss playing him?

Absolutely. Superman is a formative part of my career and my development over the past 11 years. I very much missed giving the audience the Superman which they were calling out for and the Superman which they desired.

Did it feel a little sweeter putting on the suit on this time around?

I wouldn't necessarily say sweeter, but it was a very powerful moment. Putting the suit on is always powerful, but especially after such a long hiatus and so much unknown, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience to have it back on and have that sense of, OK, it's time to go again. It's time to get this right.

Is Argylle the closest you’ll ever get to playing James Bond?

(Laughs) Who knows, I guess time will tell. We got to have this slightly larger-than-life character in play, which we could really have fun with.

What do you think about fans over the years yearning for you to play 007 or Marvel’s Wolverine?

It is enormously flattering to read those articles that pop up about Bond all the time and who's the favorite. I enjoy that, of course. But it's all about how much time I have, and these roles need to be respected and a lot of work needs to be put into them. You can't just be jumping from iconic role to iconic role with no time to prep for them.

Your Instagram features pictures of Superman, Geralt and Sherlock, your dog and every so often a selfie of you working on your computer. In another life, if you weren't an actor, might you have become an esports athlete or a Twitch gamer?

Oooh, I don't know about that. Those guys are incredibly good at what they do. I don't think I'd ever get to that level, to be honest. I probably would've joined the Armed Forces – a first-person shooter for real, rather than on computer.

Chris Van Vliet podcast

On The Rock getting Henry Cavill to return as Superman:

“Look, it's always tough to say after the fact. There have been so many voices that have gone into this. Whether it’s Danny Garcia working endlessly and tirelessly to make this happen, or Hiram Garcia and indeed The Rock as well. But there are other voices too, the important thing is that I feel so fortunate that there are those people doing that, and also the opportunity to be back, look to the future and to do something exciting.”

How do you approach an iconic role like Sherlock Holmes or Superman, when fans have an idea in their head of how that character should be?

“Well this Sherlock Holmes has a very unique situation in that he exists in the Enola Holmes universe. None of the other Sherlock Holmes have that. Especially with Sherlock as a supporting character rather than a lead character, this is not a universe that revolves around him, he is a color to this universe. The decision for me was to collaborate with Harry [Bradbeer - director] and with Millie [Bobby Brown] and make sure that every decision I made, everything that I did, tied into their plans for Enola’s arc and for the story. That’s how I approached it. The important thing is recognizing that there is a difference and that Enola is that difference. That changes a lot.

There’s a big theme in Enola Holmes of Enola trying to prove herself to everybody. When was it in your career that you felt like you had to prove yourself?

“I feel like I have to prove myself every day. I don’t think there is any letting up of that, you are only as good as your last day of acting. You got to keep it up, there is no relaxing and you have to give it 100% every day. I don’t think there is any point where I am like ‘I don’t need to try anymore, I got this.’

Henry Cavill what is the best piece of advice that you have been given in your career?

“That’s a good question. I’m not too sure that I have the answer on the tip of my tongue. One of my best friends says love living, and that life is for living. I take that with me, work is enjoyable, but it can be tough and very consuming. For me it is important to have that balance. If you don’t have that balance and you can’t enjoy things, then you are doing it wrong. If after 22 years I am not enjoying it, then something is going wrong.”

The 'Enola Holmes 2' Cast on Siblings and Superheroes

Not long after the pandemic lockdown went into effect in 2020, Netflix delivered couchbound audiences everywhere a taste of adventure with 'Enola Holmes,' starring Millie Bobby Brown as the younger – but equally brilliant – sister of Sherlock Holmes, played by Henry Cavill. Now we get a second outing in 'Enola Holmes 2,' with Enola opening up her own detective agency and accepting her first job: find the missing sister of a poor matchstick girl. Ahead of the film's debut on Netflix, RT correspondent Naz Perez chatted with Brown, Cavill, and director Harry Bradbeer about sibling relationships, parallels between the stars and their characters, and why the world needs superhero movies right now.

Colider

COLLIDER: I just want to say how happy I am about everything. I mean that as sincerely as I can say it.

HENRY CAVILL: Thank you, my friend. That means a lot. I appreciate it. Me too.

Yes, I can only imagine. Listen, I got a lot of questions for you. I'm going to try to do it quickly.

CAVILL: Okay.

Enola Holmes 2 opens the door at the end for the possibilities of a lot of different things. I'm just curious, have you guys already talked about a possible spinoff? Or, do you think Sherlock will always exist in the Enola world?

CAVILL: I do know what you mean, yes. I think there are so many options there. The important thing for me is making sure that I can give everything I need to give to every one of the characters that I play. As we know, I'm getting busier, and my plate is becoming slightly more full, so I think it's all about making sure that I have the time to serve the characters as I need to.

Listen, you won the actor lottery. You get to do all these different things. I can't imagine the scheduling. One of the things I like about you in Enola is that you're not the toughest person in the room.

CAVILL: Right.

You can actually get your ass kicked. I'm curious, for you, is it more fun playing the person who can get their ass kicked, or the one who is kicking ass?

CAVILL: There is something novel about being the one who gets his ass kicked. There's an important piece which you play to that. It goes in line with being a supporting actor. As a supporting actor in this, I'm supporting an older story. As a guy who can get his ass kicked in a room, I'm supporting everyone else's story in that room. Where, if you are the guy who kicks everyone else's ass, because that's not the truth in real life, you have to rely on everyone else in the room to sell that as well. It can't just be up to you. So it's novel to be one of the players in support of that, rather than relying on everyone else to be the one selling that.

You've worked with so many very talented actors and done so many different things. Of all the things you've worked on, what ended up being the toughest shot that you did on one of these sets? Whether it be camera moves, whatever it may be.

CAVILL: That's a really good question. Weirdly, even though it's not a single shot, it's a sequence, and I love this sequence and I would do it again in a heartbeat, but physically the most enduring, it's so much of an endurance race, was a Mission: Impossible helicopter sequence. It was so extremely cold, literally above the Southern Alps in winter, with the doors open on a helicopter. I'm sticking my face into the wind and firing blanks, with all sorts of stuff flying back at me, and just doing it over, and over, and over again. Completely deaf, just waiting for the pilot to scream something inaudible and do this, which meant we’re rolling. So I had to then just keep on acting with my head out the window until I assumed that they had stopped shooting.

So I was watching either Tom's helicopter in front or behind, and watching the camera ship as well, to see when the camera ship pulled away and did its own thing. I was like, "Okay, I think that means I can sit back in now." I'll do that for 40 minutes, then land, and then sit by a little Red Rad heater, warm my hands up. Within a half an hour they're like, "Right, we're refueled. Let's go again." It was just having to suck it up and do that for at least two weeks. That was rough, but I absolutely loved the sequence, and it was so worth it. There's nothing worse than spending all of your energy, and time, and heart, and soul trying to do something, and the other ingredients aren't there. But on a Mission: Impossible movie, all the ingredients are there, so it was such a pleasure to do.

Last question for you. Obviously, I want to ask you about Superman. I know you can't talk about anything coming up, because it's all being figured out. But I am curious, what was it like for you putting on the suit again, getting ready to film the cameo? What were your emotions? Because, the truth is, it might have been over, it might not have ever happened again.

CAVILL: It was a powerful moment for me, a meaningful moment. I was given a choice of which suit I wanted to wear, and I went straight for the Man of Steel suit. That one holds the most nostalgia for me, and the most meaning. To put that back on, and stand there in front of a mirror suited up again, the suit holds a special power, and there's no way of getting around that, even if you are the one wearing it. To see myself standing back in that suit was a meaningful moment. It's difficult to describe. Many years hoping, planning, striving, doing everything I can to get back into it, and then finally be able to get back into it, it meant a lot and it's something that I won't quickly forget.

That’s how I found out that the bestsellers used to be replicas of the vagina, breasts and butt of famous porn stars. One show even showed how the replicas are made. Yes, the porn star is really the model. lol

Just a life-size inflatable version of the porn star won’t do it anymore. rofl

All these screenings could affect EN2’s OW views.

The OW’s 64,080,000 hv. Is that good? thinking
