GG can’t do anything right lately. The Huawei thing, the Stephen Hawking thing, the Israeli winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 thing (she’s accused of disrespecting the Japanese culture) and now this Asus thing may become a thing. LOL

I couldn’t believe GG's comment about Stephen Hawkins. Normal isn’t the same thing to everybody. What is normal for someone like Stephen Hawkins isn’t normal for the rest of the world. But it is that person’s life and reality. GG talks about equality, but does she mean it? She thought it was okay to make that awful comment about SH’s situation. If you believe in equality, then you shouldn’t care that a person is different than yourself in any way. Or maybe GG only cares for equal pay.

Are you aware of the backlash?

Many of the comments aimed at new 'Deadpool 2' character Domino - played by Atlanta's Zazie Beetz - critiqued the actor's skin colour and natural hair

Many people were thrilled that a black woman was sporting natural hair in such a major role. But others immediately deemed it ridiculous, saying that an afro was "impractical" for Domino's role as an assassin, and referring to her hairdo as "frizzy", "unpolished", and a "giant mess on [her] head".

When will these people learn? Do not talk about, refer to or make jokes about people’s race (features), health/disability or sexual orientation. That’s ignorant and tacky. Some may add religion and political views to that list. But unlike those two, a person can’t change the other three.

All heroines should have short hair. You can’t fight with hair in your eyes and you wouldn’t want your opponents to grab it either. But all the MCEU heroines have long hair. Even heroes like Thor and Winter Soldier have long hair. So what’s so impractical about an afro?

No. I’m not really aware of DP news. I don’t like him. But I’m not surprised. They did the same thing to Zendaya.

And she didn't remove it or change it.

You must be very careful with those three topics. People seem eager to criticize.

Exactly!

Many white people want a tan, but they don't like people born with it. How stupid is that? LOL

I have good news for the GG and WW haters. stuck_out_tongue WW will have a new costume for WW 2.

Wonder Woman 2 they explained the tones of the movie and showed some story board of art of a new costume for Wonder Woman. They also showed a small preview of what they are trying to do with Cheetah

https://twitter.com/Daniel_Eliesen/status/998709255564771328

Cheetah was literally a tease image based on what they want it to look like. Hard to explain but probably what you think, for WW it’s a battle gear, pretty cool

Zazie Beetz aka Domino was the only good thing in DP 2.

Some people just know how to work a red carpet.

RR is so right. And DG should cast her in Red Notice.

Would I be in trouble if I said she was caramel for the eyes? heart_eyes

Elizabeth Olsen complains about her costume. She thinks WW took one for the heroine team.

It's funny because sometimes I look around and I'm just like -- wow, I'm the only one who has cleavage, and that's a constant joke because they haven't really evolved my superhero costume that much. But then you look at where it started in the comic books and it was a leotard and a headband so... oh, it's horrible, it's so horrible. So at least they know that's not cool. But then they made Wonder Woman, you know? And that's what she's in. I think of the costumes and what we have to wear -- it's more about iconic images, because that's what these movies are.... I think that's the goal with the costumes, and it's not representing the average woman.

It would just not be a cleavage corset. I like corsets, but I'd like it to be higher. Everyone has these things that cover them -- Tessa Thompson does, Scarlett does. I would like to cover up a bit.

Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow, has previously spoken out about getting to see the Black Widow costume for the first time and being not-so-pleased after realizing how tight and form-fitting the costume would be.

All in all, Elizabeth Olsen doesn't seem too upset about the choices made for her costume, especially after realizing that things could certainly get tighter, shorter and more form-fitting. She can thank Wonder Woman for taking one for the superhero team, there.

I think RR cast her because of her hair.

Yeah, in a lot of trouble. joy

I love the crazy hair. She was the best thing in DP and Juggernaut was the second best thing.

The sexy costumes are very “impractical.” LOL

I’m afraid that’s not good news. WW 2 takes place before BvS. She has the "impractical" costume in BvS.

No trouble. Caramel is something delicious, isn't it. yum wink

Yeah, women can thank WW for not changing the game. WW was created by men for men and it’s still that way. The skimpy costume is the same or worse. GG barely has breasts, but the costume gives her breasts. Would any woman care if WW’s chest looks like GG’s? I wouldn’t care. But men would care. So WW is still designed to appeal to men. It’s shocking that PJ, GG and Lynda Carter can’t see that.

WW was written by men. I don’t understand why WW 2 can’t be written by women. A woman will write Batgirl and BOP.

Captain Marvel, out next year, will be the Marvel franchise’s first female-led blockbuster by every rubric: Oscar-winner Brie Larson stars, six of the seven screenwriters are women, and co-director Anna Boden is the series’ first female director to see an entire film through. (Patty Jenkins was hired, then fired, from Thor 2: The Dark World in 2011, before breaking box-office records with last summer’s Wonder Woman.) In the DC universe, Ava DuVernay is directing the fantastical heaven-versus-hell epic The New Gods, and Cathy Yan is doing the same for Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn girl-gang spin-off Birds of Prey, written by Christina Hodson, who is also scripting Batgirl.

I know men used to fight in mini skirts. But men don't care if you get a glimpse under their skirts. A lady will.

They could have given WW black tights underneath her skirt. They changed the costumes of SM and BM too.

PJ was fired from Thor 2? I wonder why. thinking

RR didn’t write the Martha joke in DP 2. LOL

Speaking to The Empire Film Podcast, Reynolds told listeners, “I didn’t write that joke, I’ll say that one. That’s one joke I didn’t write.” In response to anyone who didn’t enjoy the nod to Zack Snyder’s movie, Reynolds responded with, “By the time they’re listening to this, I’m probably already dead.”

Why are the DCEU fans angry? The Martha moment was stupid and hilarious. Whoever came up with that idea shouldn't be allowed to write a script ever again.

Very happy to read this. I think GG is thinking about WW and her career. It seems like she doesn’t want to do things that may make people think that she supports Israel. She can love her country, but she doesn’t have to agree with the government.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot turned down an offer to host the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Israel.

Her agency said she could not host the contest after an invitation to do so by Israel’s Kan network due to a scheduling conflict, Ynet reported. Minutes after “Toy” was announced as the winning song, Israeli officials and Barzilai herself said the contest would be held in Jerusalem. Several countries reportedly have already said they would boycott a Eurovision held in Jerusalem, while Irish activists have called to boycott the contest if it is held anywhere in Israel.
