I hope the ZS cut is the last WB thing that HC will be in. I really want to be done with WB. Geeks think HC will be in S!2 and BA. Ugh! I don’t want to pay for anything WB makes. From now on, I’ll only watch the MCU films. Kevin Fiege seems to have all his ducks in a row.
Are POCs supposed to get excited by a black SM? Maybe under different circumstances. But what racist WB is trying to do is so painfully obvious. They’re not fooling anybody. They want people to think they’re not racist while at the same time wipe out every thing that ZS created. Erase Cyborg, introduce a young BM, make WW ridiculously cartoonish and change SM from white to black. AM, F and S! can remain the same, because ZS didn’t have the chance to sink his dark claws into them.

UPDATE: An HBO Max spokeperson has addressed this Tom and Jerry/Zack Snyder's Justice League snafu with the following statement. The original story continues afterwards: Zack Snyder’s Justice League was temporarily available on HBO Max, and the error was addressed within minutes.
No, it wasn’t!
This major screw-up was first noted by Twitter user @ThenDougSaid, who shared photographic evidence of what showed up on his screen when he tried to play Tom and Jerry.
As @ThenDougSaid, whose real name is Doug Bass, informed The Hollywood Reporter, he made it through one hour of Zack Snyder’s Justice League before it was cut off. When Bass went back to play Tom and Jerry, he got the antics of the title cartoon cat and mouse instead. Now lest you think that this was just a fluke purely with Bass’ account, THR writer Ryan Parker had the same thing happen to him.
Nope, this happened to a handful of HBO Max users, and it’s especially amusing to see Ben Affleck’s face next to the Tom and Jerry title in the below photo from @Zombi3Pandaz.
A lot of strange things have happened on streaming services over the years, but clicking the PG-rated Tom and Jerry and getting the R-rated Zack Snyder’s Justice League definitely ranks as one of the weirder occurrences. What makes this incident potentially even more bizarre is that according to the LightCast Podcast, this was a leak that came from someone directly from Warner Bros.

Error my arse. ZS’ fans hope that his JL will break records, because they want him to make JL2 and 3 too. But does ZS want to work for WB again after all this crap?
Those who saw the leak say it’s nothing to write home about. But they only saw a little bit more than an hour and the whole cut is four hours. I read that SM will appear in the second half of the film. So I’ll have to watch two hours before I see SM.

Care for artistic integrity. Really?
When MOS was released, the consumer didn’t care for ZS’ artistic integrity. So it was a critical and commercial flop. The consumer wanted ZS to change certain things in the sequel, but ZS didn’t listen. He double down on everything the consumer hated. So BvS was a critical and commercial flop too.
So it was the consumer’s fault that WB had to force ZS to change his vision and compromise his artistic integrity. WB was the one who actually did listen to the consumer, not ZS. ZS only cared about protecting his artistic integrity. He didn’t care about what the consumer wanted. And the consumer didn’t care about his artistic integrity when MOS and BvS were released.
So why does the consumer suddenly care about ZS’ artistic integrity now? I don’t think they really care. I think that they’re just curious. It’s hard to start a release the ZS cut if the ZS cut is what was released and you disliked. I mean, does anybody see any #ReleaseTheBetterMOScut or #ReleaseTheBetterBvScut? No. Nobody knows if those things even exist. Consumers found out about a 20 or 30 min longer BvS version when it was released on DVD. But with JL it was clear that it wasn’t a film made by ZS. The consumer was aware that many things were changed during reshoot, because ZS’ style is different. And it was confirmed that the ugly Frankenstein monster was mostly JW’s work. Things would have been different if JW had managed to deliver a good film that most liked.
So the consumer is curious about the ZS version. There has to be an unfinished ZS version, because he left just before reshoot. His version has to be better than something rewritten and shot in a hurry. So IMO, that’s what’s behind the ZS cut #. This is pure consumer curiosity, because they never cared about ZS’ artistic integrity before. They kept complaining and that’s why we’re in all this mess. Obviously, the ZS fans who really care about his artistic integrity are too few to make a film with a $225 and $300 mil PB a financial success. MOS and BvS’ BO numbers don’t lie.
Tomorrow is the big day, ladies. BTW, don’t expect a lot of SM. The ZS cut may be longer, but we won’t get more SM. ZS’ vision makes more SM impossible. Steppenwolf comes to Earth because SM died. He seems to fear Kryptonians, not Atlanteans or Amazons. So SM will appear when it’s time to end the fight and the film. Thus buy lots of Advil to endure four hours of headache-inducing drab with few SM scenes.

Speaking of, the hashtag #RestoretheSnyderVerse, referring to this plan, is already starting to circulate on Twitter. What do you think when you see something like that, knowing that now that the fans have successfully convinced Warner Bros. to let you complete this film, they might now start pressuring the studio to let you complete your vision for the full trilogy?
Yeah, I’m not sure that’s a thing. I think it’s amazing and I love the fans and I love that enthusiasm. Like I said before, the truth is, in retrospect, it’s more likely that they would have made a sequel [to “Justice League”] than going back and redoing a movie that had already been released. But I just think that like this was a Herculean effort for all of us, and Warner Bros., they have their big plan for the DCU, even to the point where they told me — and I’m fine with it — that the theatrical cut of “Justice League” is what they consider canon for their universe. So I’m just like, you know, this little Elseworld experiment. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to finish the movie. But, yeah, I don’t know if there’s anything else in the future.
That sounds like they don’t care if ZSJL is a huge hit.
It wasn’t a drab. Perhaps frustration-inducing.
Too many unnecessary scenes. Still, I enjoyed it, because it was a miniseries. I’ll give it a 7 out of 10. The action sequences are still annoying. It’s always very dark with subpar CGI. However, it’s definitely ten times better than JWJL (as expected) and BvS. It could have been much better if it didn’t have so many unnecessary scenes in it. Snyder’s problem, besides dark/game-like action sequences and the use of excessive force with no regard for the safety of bystanders (WW and the terrorist leader), is that he can’t distinguish between what’s necessary and what isn’t. That’s very important when you want to make films for theatrical release. ZSJL works as a miniseries for TV or streaming. But I’d have giving it a 4 out of 10 if it was released in theaters.
That being said, hallelujah, there’s no Martha moment in ZSJL. One moment came close, though. I say close because I want to hear what others and Snyder have to say. Maybe I’ve missed something.

Darkseid doesn’t know he saw the Anti-Life Equation on Earth. But he gets off the spaceship and slams his hammer on the ground and it appears. How can he not know where something so important, powerful and dangerous is? How can he not know which planet fought back and won? Darkseid doesn’t look like he gets defeated often. He must remember which planet was strong enough to defeat him.

Exactly. WW could have broken his neck easily. Now many of the police officers outside had to suffer. A rain of bricks can kill a human.
ZS will never learn. He did something similar in MOS. SM picked up Zod, caused a lot of damage to the farm and then blew up a gas station. Nobody died, right? Right. SM was trying to safe his mom, but he left her behind with three murderous Kryptonians. This is the kind of stupid thing you can expect from a film maker who thinks explosions and action are more important than telling a story that actually makes sense.
That’s not the only weird thing. The Mother Boxes (MB) tell Steppenwolf to come to Earth, because SM has died. But SM arrived on Earth in 1983. The MB’s are hundreds of years old. The Old Gods left Earth. Amazons and Atlanteans were at war and don’t trust each other. Humans don’t know anything about Amazons, Atlanteans and Old Gods anymore. So why didn’t the MB’s call Steppenwolf before SM arrived or when he was still a helpless child? If he was afraid of the Old Gods, Amazons, humans and Atlanteans uniting again, that fear should remain after SM died.

Am I missing something? Are there extraterrestrial TVs? So we’re not alone?
I’m shocked that WW84 did better than ZSJL. IMO, ZSJL is better than WW84. But I’m glad WW84 is on top.
I expected F&WS to be lower than ZSJL. A lot of people (incl. me) want to binge it after the last ep. So I expected the gap between the two to be much bigger, when you take into account how overhyped ZSJL was last week.
