These days, you can’t get past the entertainment section without any news about another actress telling their own harassment experience from Weinstein or other ‘predators’ in Hollywood. Even some actors are coming out with their own bad experiences (James van der Beek, Anthony Rapp, etc.).
So far, HC’s been very quiet about this hot topic in Hollywood. I can understand if he’d rather not share his opinion about it, but I do wonder if he too experienced some of the horrible experiences some actors and actresses described in their early days in Hollywood.
HC was quite young when he got cast in The Count of Monte Cristo and made his way to Hollywood auditioning to get parts, so he could have met some ‘predators’ in Hollywood.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I guess the guy who said this is actually the abuser and Corey's mom said his name, but it was bleeped out.

I wouldn’t say they are all ‘willing’. While I’m sure there are some who are ambitious enough to ‘sleep their way to the top’, others may have just kept quiet because they didn’t want to be ‘blacklisted’ or have their careers torpedoed. Not anyone would have the courage of Amber Gutierrez, that model who agreed to be wired by the NYPD to get evidence against Weinstein years ago, only to be told they didn’t have enough evidence against him. In the end, Weinstein most likely used his influence to discredit her by influencing tabloids to reveal some dirt about her past.
There are ‘safety in numbers’, so in this current environment maybe more women (and men) feel more comfortable to speak out, though I agree, there may be a few using the opportunity for other reasons.

Another one is tossed into the ring, Gary Goddard, who is a producer and right-hand man to Bryan Singer. Both were accused of sexual misconduct a few years ago by Michael Egan, but the charges were dropped.
This time an A-list TV actor has accused Gary Goddard of molesting him, and it's Anthony Edwards.

Yes, I’ve seen that one. A bit shocked about it. Anthony Edwards was one of the nicest guys on TV. A friend of mine had the opportunity of meeting him and mentioned how genuinely nice he was.
Did Goddard host similar parties like Singer or did they host them together?

Those two partied together with twinks in tow.
FYI: I remembered Goddard's face from all of the Singer pics that I've seen.

There are some pics on the internet of HC in some pool parties during his younger days. (Some with his friend Corey in the pics.) Kind of makes me wonder if he ever attended one of Singer’s parties, particularly when Singer mentioned in a past interview that he and HC were friends.
No need to say that he dodged a bullet not being cast in Singer’s version of Superman because that movie didn’t do too well, but with all the rumours going around Singer, it’s probably for the best he didn’t end up working with him. And I forgot, Kevin Spacey also starred in Singer’s Superman. (Yikes!)

Another guy connected to Bryan Singer, Brett Ratner has also been accused of sexual harassment, although in Ratner’s case he seems to be more focused on doing it to women.

Didn’t know Ratner helped produced Wonder Woman. Now Gal is threatening not to do the sequel if he’s involved. I know the first Wonder Woman did very well, but does she really have that much power? If Ratner gets fired for the sequel, I’d think it would be more WB looking after its PR.

The Brett thing came in the middle of all of these scandals, and it's older than Kevin Spacey's case.
The article says that it is rumored that Gal will quit, and it also says that he is walking away from his $450 million deal with WB.

For a rumour, it certainly has been picked up by a lot of news outlets, including CNBC:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/12/gal-gadot-wont-sign-on-to-wonder-woman-2-if-brett-ratner-is-still-on-board-ny-post.html
I am a bit skeptical about him ‘walking away’ for a deal that lucrative. In my experience, some people who are said to have ‘voluntarily’ walked or left had a lot of pressure in the background and the ‘voluntary’ was really because the person had not been given any other choice.

The publication's Page Six, citing an unnamed source close to Gadot, said the actress will not continue with the franchise so long as Ratner can profit. Does Gal not know anything about the business side of movie making? Hello, he's the producer. He helped finance the movie. He will get paid. Now, I've heard of some stars giving away their salary from the work they did with these pigs, but Brett will profit whether he stays or goes.
Separately, The Los Angeles Times reported that the Burbank-based studio will not renew this deal with Ratner beyond 2018. If he has an iron-clad contract w/o a morality clause, he could be walking off with a huge chunk of change. I don't think he has a morality clause, because he's a producer, who put in a lot of money for WW. If he goes, I'm sure he'll get a cut from the sequel.

Now Gadot is saying she won’t sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros. buys Brett out [of his financing deal] and gets rid of him.”
SMH!
I wonder does she know that her sequel may not be made, if they have to buy Bret out and pay their share of the cost of her movie. I'm all down for her drawing the line, but this will blow the budget.

Well, the Page six story from where this story originated from turned out to be false:
https://www.msn.com/en-au/entertainment/movies/warner-bros-says-the-viral-story-about-gal-gadot-refusing-to-be-in-wonder-woman-2-if-brett-ratner-is-involved-is-false/ar-BBEUX4g?li=AAgfYrC&ocid=mailsignout
And it seems WB won’t have to pay out Brett because their contract would have expired anyway by the time the movie is made.
So I’m now wondering why the story came out in the first place? Did someone from Gal’s camp or even the WB ‘leaked’ this story to Page six to look politically correct? They need the woman playing Wonder Woman to ‘draw the line’ given the icon she is playing (and save the studio’s image?)

All false!
The movie will be in theaters in 2019, but Bret's contract remains intact during the MAKING of the film. I knew there would be no way they would buy him out, find another money source, and pay their portion.
No way!
They shut Gal down with the quickness!
I don't think this was WB's doing. Maybe, Gal's camp was feeling the heat and thought they should make a stand or APPEAR to make one. In the end, Bret owns WW sequel -- not Gal. They can always get another WW just like they always get another Batman.

Brett Ratner’s Rat-PAC Dune Entertainment co-financed JL, as well as other DCEU movies. I’ve noticed that his company Rat-PAC has co-produced a lot of WB movies (eg Fantastic Beasts). Can WB/DC afford not to have him as a producer, particularly if JL ends up being a money loser for WB?
Kind of makes me wonder why Ben is being singled out for his association with Weinstein, and Gal with Ratner, when every actor and actress in JL is technically kind of associated with Ratner because he co-produced their film (and possibly any other WB film produced in the near future before his contract with WB ends).
If Gal is sincere of disapproving his behaviour, would she be giving some of the proceeds of her earnings from WW, BvS, or JL because he co-produced thosemovies (kind of how Ben Affleck is giving some of his royalties from the Weinstein movies he made)?
