Christina carried Say Something. The original solo Say Something bomb hard. It wasn’t until Christina jumped on the track it took off.

On Spotify its listed as Christina Aguilera say something. It is not under the same circumstances as Gaga who literally needed Ariana & Bradley.

Bradley's songs from the album have abysmal streams and he never had any singles top the charts before or after Shallow, but Gaga didn't carry the song when she literally sang 90 percent of the vocals in the song and wrote it? While I do agree about Xtina in Say Something, she doesn't even have solo vocals in that song, yet she's carrying that song yet Gaga is not?

I can agree that Shallow needed the film to succeed, but had the song been a solo Gaga song it would've still been a hit. Do you honestly think Gaga didn't carry Shallow?

I don't think so either. She'd have to have massive promo and a huge platform to showcase the song on because radio would've paid it dust as it would be considered too unconventional for Top 40 stations.

ASIB gave Gaga a resurgence in popularity and public interest. Without the movie, she could've been a total has been by now. Unless she'd release a perfect tune she probably wouldn't have had a comeback.
