Happy for Billie though even if Lana should have won best album. I like the fact that she seems humble yet doesn't lose it in speeches like some people.

Why they get Alicia Keys to host, I never know but last year she was awful so I wasn't expecting her to be any better this year.

I’m happy she won AOTY though since objectively it was, but I was also rooting for Lana. I don’t think I’ll be watching next year unless they get their sh*t together and cut all those ridiculous tributes and filler performances of people who aren’t even nominated. Waaaaay too long and it’s kills the entire vibe.

I read an interview with a musician who won an Oscar and I believe was nominated or won a Grammy in the same year. The grammys was simply an event where thousands of people gathered what seems like a giant space, where everybody looked like they didn't want to be there and the artist were just a number, while the Oscars was actually a joyful affair where all the nominees were treated with respect and those nominated actually felt like that there was an actual meaning behind their win.

Yeah those performances did not have me excited at all so I didn't even bother watching. What is with all the tributes? and why does Demi Lovato get to perform when she isn't even nominated nor has an album coming up.

This year of TUN vs. WWAFA is very much like Daydream vs. Jagged Little Pill in a way. The pop star vs. the anti-pop star. I'm not mad at the AOTY win, I like Billie, but I do think a Big 4 sweep this early in her career is a bit ridiculous. Bad Guy is one of her worst songs. Her next era will define her as either a true force or a one era wonder, but considering how she's already the 4th most streamed female artist of all time with just one EP and one album I don't think she's going anywhere anytime soon unless she doesn't evolve at all.

We could go on about this forever - Grammys have always been a joke but Billie is not the only one who has won multiple grammys in one night if you are just going to single her out and I don't get how she's a little debut girl?
