I’ve never been so bored at a music award show. Alicia Keys has the personality of a card board box. The performances were boring and uninspired. It’s sad that Lizzo actually was the best of the night.
I expect ratings to dip yet again.

Because I’m specifically talking about Sunday nights Grammys?? I thought that was obvious
I already mentioned the Grammys has a strange way of selecting their winners. Did you miss that part, or just conveniently left that out? No one was singling out Billie, but the subject was SUNDAYS Grammy awards.
If you don’t understand why I called her debut girl then not sure what to tell you. I can’t walk and talk you through everything sis, it was quite obvious what I meant.

If we are going by Metacritic, then No. The most critically acclaimed female album of the decade is Room 25 by Noname, followed by Lemonade by Beyoncé and Lorde's Melodrama.

Yeah but you mentioned that she won more Grammys in one night than Mariah's entire career but that's not the first time an act has done so. Is it fair, perhaps not but it's not something out of the ordinary for the Grammys. Billie's situation is based on luck for the most part. She had the biggest album of the year. She also got critical acclaim (something people seem to ignore), had the 2nd biggest song of the year, was eligible for best new artist. It was basically a semi Adele situation (with less sales) except Billie was new and therefore eligible for best new artist. They have always been weird ever since they began.

Solange's last two albums got higher scores too.

Lana's album wasn't even the most critically acclaimed female album of 2019. Weyes Blood's Titanic rising, Lil Sims Grey Area. Jamila Woods Legacy Legacy, Angel Olsen's All Mirrors and Solange's When I get home all are rated above it.
