Iván Horton (born March 31, 2000) is a Costa Rican filmmaker based in San José, Costa Rica. He made his directorial debut with El Ojo Gallístico (2021), a documentary short selected for the 25th edition of the Guatemalan International Film Festival Ícaro. Since then, he has worked across the film, TV, and advertising industries, performing various production roles in TV shows and feature films. Between 2020 and 2025, Iván directed four short films and the web series Mamicho (2023). In addition to his creative projects, Iván works in different roles within film production services, creates short-form content and ads for social media, and occasionally plays the bass in a band.
