Sie wird auch als "Große Pyramide" bezeichnet und wurde vor über 4.500 Jahren im westlichen Niltal, etwa 25 Kilometer von Kairo entfernt, als Grabmal des Königs Cheops erbaut. Wie konnten die Ägypter ohne moderne Werkzeuge ein so monumentales Bauwerk errichten?

Deutschland in den 70er Jahren. Mit ihrem ausgeprägten Sinn für Gerechtigkeit, einer politischen Ambitioniertheit und dem leichten Hang zur Anarchie kommt Rita Vogt sehr schnell mit linken politischen Gruppierungen in Berührung. Ihr Freund Andi hat sich einer terroristischen Vereinigung angeschlossen, und auch Rita macht aktiv bei dieser Bewegung mit. Doch die Dinge geraten aus dem Gleis, und Rita muss untertauchen. In der DDR baut sie sich mit Unterstützung der Stasi unter einem anderen Namen eine neue Existenz auf. Als im Westfernsehen eine dringende Fahndungsmeldung nach Rita gesendet wird, muss sie jedoch erneut untertauchen und ein weiteres Mal ihre Identität wechseln. Einige Jahre später, nach dem Mauerfall 1989, wird Rita von ihrer Vergangenheit radikal eingeholt.

A 66-year-old woman, Dorottya, or Mimi, receives a gift from her husband, a plastic surgery coupon, to try to look younger. The film is a romantic comedy about the decisions of an ageing woman, her unexpected encounter with a man, the possibility of a fresh start, while social prejudices about the elderly are shattered.

A poetic horror story, set in 1903, about a twelve year old girl who tries to unravel the frightening mystery of the black pond behind the family house.

In this mix of black comedy and harsh drama, a man and wife are divorced yet still have to share their living quarters even though the wife has remarried -- housing is seriously hard to find in Budapest. Csaba (Karoly Eperjes) has just come out of doing a stint in prison because he stabbed a man while drunk, and when he goes home he discovers that his wife (Mariann Erdos) is now living with someone else in their apartment. Csaba quickly divorces his wife but he still has to move in and share a kitchen and bathroom with her and her new mate, suffering because he still loves her. This untenable situation is complicated by visits from Csaba's mother, and by various women he starts seeing, as well as by a busy-body neighbor. The three main roles of Csaba, his wife, and her lover (Peter Andorai) are excellently interpreted in this satire on social morés and economic realities.

In the year 80 AMM (After Mickey Mouse) on planet X the crime-syndicated Cats try to erase the Mouse-population once and for all. A scientist of the mice, prof. Fushimishi seems to have found the weapon against the threat - so Intermouse calls its best (albeit retired) agent, Nick Grabowsky, to get the plans. As a distraction for the Cats, they also send a second agent - Seargent Lazy Dick - for the mission.

The internationally acclaimed director and recipient of the Erasmus Award in 2007, Péter Forgács created a documentary exploring the fate of hundred thousands of Hungarian men and women who arrived to the United States between 1890 and 1921. To tell their sagas Forgács weaved this grand epic from the early American cinema, found footage, photographs and interviews. The film reveals the difficult moments of arrival, integration and assimilation, which eventually fed the happiness of the later generations and their fulfillment of the American dream.

Beim Versuch in das Unterbewusstsein des Industriellen Saito einzudringen, stoßen Cobb und seine Mitstreiter auf unerwartete Schwierigkeiten. Saito hatte Verteidigungsstrategien gegen den Gedankendiebstahl trainiert und baut nun einen Abwehrriegel auf, doch erst der Verrat eines Kollegen lässt den Versuch scheitern, dem Schlafenden Geheimnisse zu entlocken. Da seine Auftraggeber unbedingten Erfolg gefordert hatten, muss Cobb, der auf Grund einer drohenden Verurteilung nicht mehr in die USA zurück kann, fliehen, doch Saito kommt ihm zuvor. Allerdings nicht um ihn zu bestrafen, sondern um ihm einen Deal vorzuschlagen.
