As a freelance web designer I profoundly like high-quality images. The fact that the German section of this archive was surprisingly empty made me upload the first covers on this site. At the time when language-dependent covers were enabled, I considered it necessary to eventually also "start" bringing the German records to the next level.

I was almost shattered to see the amount of patched-up low-quality covers. What amazed me much more, though, was the fact that it is so hard to get high-resolution images of covers, backdrops, etc. Nevertheless, I took the opportunity and started contributing to this vast database of information. We are nowhere near finished but you never know what future brings...
