So glad she is back. She has been killing it since her return. She steals every scene. So good to see a near 80 year old given meaningful time on a soap. She's one of the best soap actors of all time- Top 10 easy.

I wonder what prompted her return because there was such a big deal about her retirement. Did she get bored or TPTB lured her back because they wanted a Quartermaine matriarch?

I've wondered that too. Maybe she made some bad investments and needed to return for the money. Or maybe she just missed acting full time. It's to the fans' benefit.

I'm so glad they've made her more caring as well as tough. Elliot's versatility is wide.
