I think that we were given a clear message at the beginning of the April 1st episode as to who are the conscience of GH and Port Charles - none other than Sonny Corinthos and Laura Collins. No wonder Port Charles is a crime-ridden mess of a city and GH is a morass of unethical behaviour.

I agree!
And, all these people wandering around the hospital yet no one mentions Ric and Elizabeth are currently patients nor an update on their conditions???

I will add that people didn't want to clap for Jenz Sidwell but they're kissing Sonny's ass? Come on! I also found it ridiculous how Portia, who has committed a huge ethical breach, talked about living up to Monica's standards.

I understand this show has the budget of a 1984 Yugo hatchback but SO many people were missing!

This was a special episode that didn’t have any sl To it so think of it as a standalone episode about the hospital itself and nurses ball

Would it have been that much trouble to have Elizabeth in a wheelchair (since she's currently a patient) or Jason showing up to his mom's dedication? They did a good job getting the vets out but there were some key people missing. What about Scotty?? And every time I see that memory picture wall at the hospital, i'm reminded that Audrey is still alive. They really are just waiting for Rachel Ames to die for them to even mention her again?

Thank you! I keep asking why Audrey is there in photograph but in no other way, not even mentioned.
Is Scotty still kidnapped?? Like for a year now? I don’t even remember who took him. Maybe we need to get Liam Neeson and his very special skill set on the job…

I was glad that most of the polarizing pain -in-the -ass characters were excluded from this episode so the focus was on memorializing GH’s 62nd anniversary and Leslie Charleston. No Kristina, Lucky, Liz, Jason, Ava or Brad was fine by me. I wish Portia and Sonny weren’t present, but at least we had a break from their aggravating drama.

It was a disappointing episode in every way. It did not live up to all the hype that was being pushed on social media.

I keep waiting for Sonny to clutch his chest and grimace one last time and then just keel over and croak. But he won't!

I also keep waiting for his devil spawn Kristina to get carted off to Ferncliff or wherever that horrid psychiatric prison is.
Sonny reminds me of Sanford and Son where the old guy constantly clutches his chest saying “It’s the big one! I’m going!” But of course he never dies.

I really don’t know how much more. of this Sonny heart clutching bullsh!t I can take. What is the point of this? Will it lead to Sonny finally leaving the mob once and for all?

Probably not. They don't know how else to write him. And he doesn't want to play an emasculated version of the character. It will be more of the same. And he's not going to retire. It will go on and on until the show ends.
