Sasha wanting Jason to pretend he’s her baby’s father

makes zero sense, and I don’t understand why Jason agreed to this. Why doesn’t Sasha just stick to her story of having had a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar while drunk?

She’s protecting Michael’s custody of Wiley and Amelia.

I understand that but she doesn’t need to pretend that Jason is the father. Her original story was that she got drunk and had a one night stand with a guy in a bar. Why not stick to that story? It makes no logical sense for Jason to pretend he’s the father. Pretending to be a baby’s father has never worked out well for him.
