He's 20 years younger than Anna. That thy were colleagues is ridic- and he was soso on OLTL Ugh. Mesure was a real gem.

This really sucks, Mesure played the scoundrel really well, not an easy task. Not to mention he's the only one I've seen LW paired with who had actual chemistry with her.

Here’s a thought Charles could’ve gotten forced out due to the fact that him n Laura really don’t match well together so they brought someone that looked younger🤷🏾‍♂️ And doesn’t. The guy look more like her real life partner Wes Ramsey

I only know him from Desperate Housewives.

What do you mean he and Laura didn’t match well together? This was the first guy with Carly that I really liked. They had fantastic chemistry together and the majority of fans seemed to like him.

What an odd speculation. Laura and Charles matched perfectly together. Kathy is right. I read that Charles Mesure almost didn't take the job originally because he's not used to so much dialogue because he's used to single camera work with 8 or 9 takes. Soap Operas are a whole different ball game with maybe 1 to 2 takes with pages and pages of dialogue. Maybe he realized he couldn't hack it.

I read that too, I know it is a grind. But I thought he was pretty damn good in the role, this is unfortunate whatever the reason is.
