I’m confused. Who is Maria Santos? I thought from your description you were referring to Natalia, who is played by Eva Larue?

If you were referring to Natalia, the character is awful. I don’t understand her fixation on Sonny. Also, when you find someone unconscious, you call 911 immediately and check for breathing and pulse. You don’t stick a pill in their mouth and then if they awaken, let them argue against going to the hospital. First, an unconscious person can choke on a pill. Second, she doesn’t know what she’s putting in his mouth. It could be a drug he OD’d on. What a very stupid scene.

If you’re not talking about Natalia, then I guess I should start a new post about this scene because it was ludicrous.

Yes this is about Eva Larue. She played Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children.

Maria on AMC was a great character. The opposite of Natalia. But it would seem they are doing character rehabilitation on her. Apparently it works because there are legions of Scummy fans who refuse to acknowledge that he is a murdering rapist psychopath that runs drugs and guns.
