First season was great, despite some minor drawbacks. The first episode of season 2 made me worry a bit, then it was followed by few great episodes and I kind of forgot it. But then came really bad 6th episode that made me question the direction of the series, and now after episode 7 I think this show will go the same way as few other great mystery shows, that ended with a whimper. A lot of writers can create a mystery and suspense, but when it's time to explain and show your intentions, suddenly they have no idea what to do. I am afraid this show will go the same way and will leave really weak impression at the end, the red flags that this will happen are already visible now.
