Spike and Buffy were my first TV ship. I remember rooting for them to get together in season 5 and being really happy when they did in season 6.

I found the season 6 relationship of Buffy and Spike to be sick she was clearly unstable after coming back from the dead and was using him to "feel" something she never really cared for him.
