This show is definitely not in the same category as Game of Thrones. There's no rythm, no humour or wit, very little is happening, too many long dialogues or monologues that would like to be shakespearian, the cast is not as charismatic as the GOT was from the start. If you want actual shakespearian script and dialogues , go for the real thing.
If you miss Game of Thrones, you'll be better off re-watching the original series, or reading the books.

This is absolutely true. The story line is not very coherent and with story jumps and long dialogues that do not add any information about the story. Everything looks more than luxurious and is not at all comparable to Game of Thrones

I rather like it. True, it's no Game Of Thrones, but what is? I haven't seen much of GOT aside from clips on YouTube, but for some nutty reason I was impressed enough by House Of The Dragon to buy season one for my phone and signing up for MAX so I could watch season two (which will give me the opportunity to start watching GOT).
