Reported Problem for Robot Wars

Type of Problem: Duplicate
Extra Details: Looking at merging this original Robot Wars, with the other named, "Robot Wars" (2016), but to do this I need to be able to add new seasons to this series first.

So if this can be unlocked, I can merge the two series, and then maybe the duplicate "Robot Wars 2016" can be removed/archived or something?

The guidelines for revival/sequel series are in the Contribution Bible. I think the 2016 show was correctly created as new entry. Looking at the archives, the 2016 season was broadcast as the first season of a new show. But it looks like BBC later merged the two shows, and aired the March 2017 season as Series 9.

From reading your reply, and the linked Bible pages, (although I don't necessarily agree) I think you're correct. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I will work on both of the pages to bring them up to scratch.
