( Kim ll Sung was a very deadly communist leader of North Korea. He also started the entire Korean War. Never mentioned at all on Mash!)
When Mash went off in 1983 Sung who had been NK's ultra-mass-murdering dictator was still running that country. Plus, ditto in 1984 when After Mash folded. In 1994 Sung finally died. His also deadly son, Kim Jong-Il took the reins of government. This was the true beginning of the world's one and only communist monarchy-- North Korea!

If they had referred to Kim ll Sung it would have been ironic if someone referred sarcastically to him as King Kim. Hawk would probably say"Has a real screwed up ring to it". It would not have been quite accurate either as irregardless what arrangements NK made nobody knew for sure if Kim's direct descendants would successfully take over North Korea from him till right after he died.
