After decades waiting to see "A Midsummer Night's Dream" adapted for the screen I guess it was always going to be hard to match my expectations but squidging it into a flashback totally failed to do it justice.

It's a shame for the ladies involved and, selfishly, for fans of Neil Gaiman's work that he allegedly appears to be such a bad 'un leading to multiple books of the source material having to be condensed into one season.
