Pretty sure Netflix doesn’t have a separate category for specials. They’ve been known to lump specials in with seasons.

They have a "Trailers & More" section that they could've easily placed the episode in if it actually was a special.

It was released as a regular numbered episode, so Netflix clearly doesn't consider it to be a special episode, just another regular episode.

Yes, it is a bonus episode since it was released after the rest of the season, but it's not a special episode; it's very clearly numbered on Netflix as S01E11.
