I really miss Ben. I know he probably doesn't have a lot of fans but I really liked him a lot. He brought a spark to the show and made it form fun to watch. I always felt bad for him because he seemed like a pretty normal and nice guy even with the abuse he suffered at Clyde's hands until Abby cheated on him and lied to him over and over. She got engaged to him and claimed to want to marry him and live together in the house Clyde bought them but she kept sleeping with Chad and even got pregnant with Chad's baby. Ben lost Abby and the baby he thought was his plus his dad got sent to prison. All he ever wanted was family to feel both loved and wanted. I can see why Abby's betrayal and lies sent him over the edge. It always bothered me that Abby and Chad never took responsibility for their role in Ben's mental state and actions. It was always poor them and they are the victims. Sometimes Abby acted like she saw the damage she did to Ben but Chad never saw it or acted like he did anything wrong. I literally had chills when we saw Ben at the police station and you could tell he totally checked out and was relieving his father's abuse all over again. I hate that he is in prison somewhere but what I hate most of all is the show completely threw Ben under the bridge and destroyed his character just to prop Chad and Abby. The actor playing Ben was really talented too and I enjoyed watching him light up the screen.
