Item: The Great British Bake Off
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The data for "series 15" is listed as "season 8" so if all my episodes are identified as "S15" there isn't any data. Can this be fixed, so that they match?

This numbering is correct. The season currently broadcasted as "Series 15" is the 8th season of this show. The seasons need tp be numbered consecutively.

It's fine, I prefer TMDB for Plex by default but I figured out how to switch to TVDB for this show. If there are 15 series for GBBO, then how is "series 15" the same as "season 8" that's dumb

Also, I understand GBBO moved from BBC to Channel 4, but I can't find any other examples of the same show having two entries on TMDB just because it moved networks. The entries should be merged. Series 1 thru 7 (season 1 thru 7) https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/34549-the-great-british-bake-off Series 8 thru 15 (restarted at season 1 for no good reason) https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/87012-the-great-british-bake-off

As explained in the previous reports, there are in reality 2 shorts.
Channel 4 initially started with "Series 1" to "Series 3" (implying a new show), before renaming them 3 years later to capitalise on the previous show.

Are you able to advise how you’ve done this?
Totally agree with having 2 separate show entries. Even if Channel 4 did start with series 1,2,3. Should really merge shows now that they follow the original series numbers. Just causes confusion.

go to the show you need to change, Edit > Advanced > Episode Ordering > change from "Library default" to "The TVDB (Aired)"
