What happens when a collection of short works becomes a selected collection of short works.

The slide was apparent, but season 4 is the worst yet. It is too shallow and bitter to be self aware. They traded the love and robots and charm for, another discrete set of goals entirely. Only one episode was even visually remarkable, and they all felt too long at 5-10 minutes a piece.
