So the finale of this show was supposed to have left viewers in tears - why? This predatory promiscuous woman got everything she wanted. I have no time for someone who sent a vulnerable young woman into a nervous breakdown in pursuit of her own desires. Anne Lister cared for nobody except herself and as such was completely undeserving of any sympathy.
