I can't be certain but I believe new seasons can't be added until there is an airdate?

Can’t you make the date null since there’s no airdate? The season air date appears if a release date for the first episode has an airdate. You can make it null first.

You definitely can set it to null, and it seems to be standard practice for shows with confirmed new seasons with no known air date. For example:
The mods for this page have locked editing seasons, which is fine and understandable for shows that are being edited frequently with incorrect information, but it means when new information is officially announced, they have to update it themselves. Developers using tmdb API rely on the information being updated in a timely manner
Season 2 was officially announced 4 days ago https://www.marvel.com/articles/tv-shows/loki-season-2-disney-plus-tom-hiddleston

You can leave your question here (see link) & it might be answered quicker?

I have added season 2; however, episodes should not be added yet. It can stay empty, for now. Episode 1 should only be added when a release date is known.
That would be unnecessary duplication of this report, which is only 3 days old. All we ask for is patience, we try to get to reports as fast as we can.

Well, technically it's 4 days but who's counting. No need to be snarky, I was trying to help them by advising they leave it somewhere it would be seen quicker. Sometimes questions like theirs linger on the regular pages for quite a while. I also had no way of knowing if they had left their question on the support pages.

I did not intend to come across as snarky, my bad. We get a high volume of reports in a day, sometimes a report that is a few days old gets pushed back a couple of pages, but we do go through all reports (eventually). This report is already in the Content Issues area, and its attached to the tv page its referencing, so there's nothing else the original report filer needed to do.

Okay. Like I said I didn't know that they had left it in the support section.

Seems like season 2 was removed right after it was added? I don’t understand this. Can someone explain the reasoning? It’s been confirmed, officially. It is happening.

Maybe because it hasn't even started filming yet & according to the article in the link that won't be happening until 2023.

Better wait until there is some data on the upcoming season, for example an air date, a teaser or a poster.

@Rebecca Loki S2 has been getting buzz again now that it's been featured at SDCC and D23. Is it OK if the second season comes back up here on TMDb?

As indicate by Banana above, we need concrete data (preferably an airdate) before adding a new season.

Oof I completely missed that Banana was a mod, I thought that was just a perspective from a user. Thanks!
