"Cancelled" is quite a misleading term to use, though. Warner decided that Cinemax will no longer commission original series. This is not really the show having been cancelled, but the channel it was on no longer existing.

Jett had very solid and stable ratings for a Cinemax show, and mostly decent to positive reviews. It seemed a pretty likely candidate for renewal before upper management preempted it with their change of strategy.
